I think I figured it out. Here is my paragraph to describe it. Gabbie Hanna’s most recent song, Medicate talks about mental health and whether you should medicate a broken heart, but throughout the video, we hear and see numerous things which I figured out may contain evidence for a hidden storyline or connections between songs. The first thing we see is a flash of light on the chair across from her which just appears to be the Gabbie which shows up later in the video. The next thing we see is that when the second Gabbie appears, lines appear behind the window. I have two theories for this, either it is a reference to Honestly since a lyric in that song is “Blurred lines, but they’re getting clearer.” This tells how throughout the video, the lines in the window are getting clearer. The second theory is that Gabbie is in prison for lighting the house on fire in Monster and as we see at the end of Monster, Gabbie is depressed. As she enters prison she is in her cell asking herself if she should “medicate it away,” as in medicating her depressed mood away. To me most likely, both of them are correct since those lines are in that song and that every storyline behind the second lines up with all the songs. As with the clothing styles, the second Gabbie has the black shirt from Honestly on and the coat from Monster on, indicating that those connect, which we figured out with the lines on the window. The last easter egg hidden is in the end when we hear a garbled voice saying, “I’m a medical doctor,” which Gabbie confirmed herself on twitter. This can indicate multiple meanings such as it is similar to the voice on the news describing the incident with the house on fire in monster, which again can just indicate everything is connected or can indicate that the song is about her deciding whether or not to medicate herself but just emphasize it more. Either way, there is most likely a connection between all the songs. The one thing I do want to say is I think satellite is just a song of itself and doesn’t have anything to do with the storyline but I can be wrong. However, they may be connected since out loud indicated how her boyfriend died and satellite shows her depressed. After that song, Gabbie shows how her new boyfriend lied to her and after that song, monster, shows how Gabbie got depressed from her boyfriend lying to her and lighting the house on fire as a result of it. Now in medicate, she is shown in prison from lighting the house on fire, wondering whether she should “medicate her illness away.” This leaves one question, will the future music videos also have a connection to them or will they not?
