What about Ibogaine? Folks are flying to Mexico and getting super results from the testimonials and it's over in 9 days . Check youtube testimonials. I am sick to death of trying to get help . I am a veteran and they won't give me methadone or suboxone because they say I am not a junkie or homeless etc that I need to stay in pain management where I have been since it became required 20 yrs of opioids and the war on drugs is a predatory money making joke ...the doctors treat me as a drug addict but none have offered to help me get off the drugs for 20 years ..just don't run out or you will feel the brunt of the stigma and people seem to think that withdrawals is the punishment you deserve

its not over in 9 days, the urge to use takes 9-12 months to go away, and will linger for 2 years in some way, and in some capacity never goes away. people always think the withdrawals are the hard part, not even close. Ibogaine isn't all it's cracked up to be, yes a mystical experience on a drug like LSD has some evidence to support it in treating alcoholism (but very little, and it's prob BS), but if anything helps the most in flying to mexico to take ibogaine is probably the geographic moving away from one's sources of drugs. Especially since, once people have about 10 days clean off drugs, the front of their brain normalizes and they start to gain the ability to think clearly and not fall for the urge to use.

Fentanyl is fast acting and you have to wait 72 hours to take suboxone, i know from experience. Why is that?

I know for a fact naltrexone works for alcohol use disorder. I had no problem getting my physician's assistant to prescribe it or getting my insurance to cover it.
