You should study Oxytocin in people who feel too lonely and have depression. It might solve some of the core causes of higher prevalence of depression in ASD (less side effects than antidepressants). People with ASD have usually less social contacts and therefore enjoy less this hormone. Oxytocin can lower as well the stress hormones, a key contributor for depression

I like it because my nephew is on Abilify for his problems and I'm on Geodon for mine. My dad's on Abilify too. And our lives are much better on medication and we're able to tolerate our autistic symptoms better. Medication is a Godsend for us and many families out there.

I forgot to add Geodon is another name for Ziprasidone. It's not as good at controlling autistic symptoms but the good thing is that it doesn't lead to weight gain.

I believe that aripiprazole is very strong... And need to check very low doses... As i believes it dose work very well at supper low doses

Very strange that the autistic people were obviously not asked what THEY want healed. Sensory problems would be mentioned. They would not want to have their autism 'cured'; that is who they are. And yes, they cán be asked themselves. Well, that considering, this presentation is interesting.

Well, *I* want to be cured. I have so-called high-functioning autism, but I may never be able to live on my own. Why is that a good thing?

@@TransSonic83 I'm helping my son navigate. It's hard, everyone wants to treat the symptoms not the underlying causes. Never want to give him what helps! Be who you are, do what you enjoy, feel free to leave a situation when you feel uncomfortable without having to explain. Feel comfortable and thankful being different! Sometimes it's just so much information plus the deep diving into each subject and it can overload the mind! Good luck
