Wow this brings back memories amazing band, i have a story about them i was living in Brazil in a city called Londrina ( i am from the U.K) and was in a band at the time and we went to see them i can't remember the venue it was around 2007, and it was one of the best live shows i've ever seen and i have seen hundreds and hundreds of acts over the years. I had never even heard of them but our bass player told me an American band were in town and since i hadn't seen anything from the U.K or States in the city for years i went. I am so glad i did.

One of my favorite things about Devin Ocampo, whether w/ Medications or Faraquet, is that you can hear just how much he was influenced by Ed “fROMOHIO” Crawford of fIREHOSE. I used to joke that my 2nd favorite fIREHOSE song was Cut Self Not by Faraquet.

Chad Molter and Devin Ocampo from faraquet are in this band, Chad who originally played drums in faraquet moved onto bass and Andrew Becker came on on drums.

@@colinohara9796 Ocampo is a drummer too, no wonder they are so easy on the odd time stuff.. This is the most melodic math core i know. (actually it is a shake this is filed under this). This band plays it is how it should be. Fun and sophistiocated rhythmically but killer hooks, great riffs, melodic linnes. This is my fave power trio. Ocampos voice and guitar style- i cant describe how much i love this. May he live long and bless the world with his music.

Aside from a terrible grounding hum in the sound system and some truly dodgy, stoned videography (the little girl was cute, but for 80% of the song? And why did he wander to the side of the stage and blot out the vocals, sheesh), a great gig ;)
