Man, Time Baby just has such a deep 90's vibe. Maybe it's my imagination.

I recorded this with Brad's permission. This has to be third gen or worse the only people with a copy were members of ...a gravity bell. Kick ass show got to party with the band before hand - so down to earth. ❤️

If this is the gig I was in attendance at, this was at Bogies. (The same manager would go on to run Valentine's, but it was a different venue in a different part of town.) This was the tour supporting Swervedriver. It's quite embarrassing to see how, erm, enthusiastically my mates and I are dancing in the audience. To be fair, the band were soon to be crossing the border into Canada, and needed help disposing of some, erm, combustibles that they did not want to cross the border with so we were all a little too refreshed. (This was, I believe the traumatic border crossing that caused Swervedriver's then-drummer to give up and go AWOL.) So my group of friends helped with this endeavour, leading to a bizarre game of Mornington Crescent between Brad and one of my friends, except using the names of prog and krautrock bands instead of Tube Stations. It was a wonderful, though thoroughly bizarre evening. This kind of thing didn't happen very often in Albany!

Audience back then was much more into it than the most recent performances that have been uploaded. Id give anything to go back in time just to see this live 💔

I just met Jim on Friday night in San Diego where Medicine played at The Void. He has a very young, very cute new wife. His drums sound very distinctive on record, but damn.... live, he hits the skins HARD. Awesome guy. So glad to have seen them. I posted a couple of videos from the show. Check them out.

What was homeboy's wah pedal? Saw them in Norman. OK in 9x? Greatest band from LA ever.

Pretty good. I live in Albany, and this looks like the club Valentines. It was the best club for bands that were not mainstream, and it was dirty, and smelly, and I miss it. There is a Hospital wing there on the site. Best punk bar in the area, not just videos posted here and there.

I read in an interview in guitar magazine that Medicine used something they called the "shit guitar." They would basically just hit it and let it drone.

Matthew LeBlanc They had reverb and compression in 1992, shithead. By the way, I hated you in Lost in Space.
