It's got lot of valleys and hills. Around the city. It looked very nice. Compared to Winnipeg, Regina, moose jaw, even Saskatoon, and Edmonton

The city is nestled in a bunch of hills. Lots of hills in this city if you don’t have a good car you ain’t driving up them lol.

So little history the city was founded on Indians and it got its name from a medicine man that lost his hat in the river something like that. In 1906 the small community was granted the rights to call the town a city. The city grew and Finley Bridge was constructed in 1908 making it the first river crossing this was big because now more goods and people could cross safely next came the train bridge that led way to the rail yard which is still heavily used today. The discovery of gas pockets helped grow the city some more and a power plant was constructed strictly running off natural gas. The rail yard brought the ability to harvest the wheat fields there are many abandoned grain elevators scattered throughout the city. In 1988 the city was gifted a giant teepee from the winter Olympic a tribute to the city’s native beginnings. The construction progress of this teepee started in 1991 and was completed in a week. You can see this giant teepee from Canadas highway 1 it lights up at night in different colours. So now you know some history of this growing city.

What happens if liberal government gets elected again. Will gas energy make Alberta less productive and wealth?
