@@Anil75987 money is not as great as expected, not enjoying the work as expected, although most patients are nice. All my friends with maths, economics, computer science degrees are earning more in more interesting work. Plus they have more options to move into different roles in their career. Dentistry is it. I wish I did mathematics and finance . Then work in asset management or fund management etc. Too late now as invested too much time in this career.

@@annajones9701 it’s never too late, if you don’t like what you do you can always move. There are people out there who have studied medicine became a doctor and then switched to software engineering. There are people who went from software engineering to doing medicine. Have you heard of the KZbinr Ali Abdaal? He did medicine and now he’s a full time KZbinr. I know some people at work who have switched careers. Look on Reddit for other examples. So you can always move if you don’t like it. If you want to go down the finance route, then you could do a part time MSc in financial maths while you work as a dentist for example. However, the only thing that I would say is the biggest difference between being a dentist and working in the corporate world is the direct impact you have on people as well as the ability to fix something straight away without asking anyone higher up as a dentist. You will not be able to do this in the corporate world unless you are very high up the hierarchy.

@@annajones9701 that is literally my problem, i dont think i want to be looking at teeth my whole life or become a doctor because of the hours. So the next best thing is doing like business managment or finance or econ or something.
