I LOVE everything about Mao's playing!! - his passionate phrasing, his superb technique and the joy he exudes when he performs. He is a cut above all the rest, and I look forward to hearing so much more from him in the future!🎹🎼🎵🎶
Как- же я согласна с Вами. Легко и радостно было исполнение этой Великой русской музыки молодым музыкантом из далёкой Японии. Спасибо и БРАВО таланту Мао!

Sergio Cabada well my point was that you should be grateful anyway for having access to free music online. This didn’t exist before, and such a minor inconvenience should be allowed considering the situation. And if you are really that pissed about it, just get an adblocker

1:00 If the conductor is shaking his head at the soloist he’s an ass. If he’s shaking his head at the orchestra it’s understandable.
The Maestro’s interpretation of this piece is, frankly, poor. The vibrancy and lucidity of the piece is ignored; the different tones not explored. I presume this is so as to place more emphasis on the aspiring winner, which is comprehensible. All the best, Pyotr
