On the 4th of July, 2022, I will celebrate my 100th birthday. I don't know when I first started singing Tchaikovsky's First, but I think it must have been in the 1930's when words were written for "Tonight We Love" - and I'm still singing it. God has been good to me and I can still sing although I've gone from first tenor to baritone. I just found this video on KZbin and love it!

I have been listening to Tchaikovsky since childhood -Nutcracker! Lonely Hearts! 1812 Overture! Swan Lake! and of course his Piano concerto number 1 op 23 -1875 whoohoo! and I love love love watching Anna Fedorova play with such talent and passion-as a piano player myself, she puts me to shame and I'm blown away by her amazingness, textured fortissimo and respect her so much, honoring my fave composer as well as she does with her usual Rachmaninov! I grew up in the late 60's early 70's. Loved Led Zepplin, Alice Cooper, Yes, Uriah Heep and of course Pink Floyd..As I grew older thanks to my parents I began to realize the genius of classical music and it's influence on modern music....Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Pagganini and even Opera. If you truly love music, there are no limits to its beauty and the memories and peace it brings to one's soul..

Anna never fails to amaze, she's extraordinary and the Orchestra amazing. I love to listen to Anna play Rachmaninoff so brilliantly, and Tchaikovsky, breathtaking! It touches my soul, evokes emotions and transports me to another era. She is a gift to us all, thank you to these fabulous composers and her extraordinary rendition of their compositions. ❤🎼🎶

That performance can only be described as electrifying. Even many life-long professionals get one note wrong near the end. Anna Fedorova was absolutely incredible.
