That looks great ! As a Marine and Police officer..I use a lifetime of martial arts training to get my Dark Ages medieval Renaissance fair and larp on and this has led to me being okay with articulation issues due to body armor in gi joe figures, comic, star wars etc because it's REALISTIC !! Which is what most collectors say that they want. In Afghanistan most recently ( except my current job police officer and reenacting + larp) but all over in general you really do have to constantly consider what balance between mobility and protection that will give YOU the best chance at survival. It's different from person to person as well as theater i.e. Middle East / Baltic/ South America...Hot or cold weapons etc. I am a HUGE fan of your channel ! Many a night of post 2-4a.m.PTSD episode watching your content and listening to you has been VERY helpful and calming for me and many of the people in my PTSD group. Also the Raccoon whisperer..Fwoosh and Comicstorian as well as the Dodo and Rescue Paws . I understand that it probably sounds silly but I honestly can't articulate how healing it is to have a calming, joyful presence talking about a childhood and on love for something that grounds you as well as enveloping you in a cocoon of memories and imagination. Sorry I didn't do a particularly good job at explaining the immense gratitude I have for your work and the community in your comment section. You definitely have a lot of valid concerns with the hard plastics. I've had some figs with hard plastics break off while posing and just having them fall off the shelf ( I live in california, earthquakes Do happen).

My Azrael took a shelf dive the 2nd day I had him. Thankfully nothing broke, only now the underwire is sorta poking out from the cape up top.

I remember loving issue 500 when he first shows up in the armor and takes down Bane (the machine gun batarangs/shuriken were particularly impressive to me). I will be passing on this figure, however I am glad to see Mafex diving into the 90s era of DC. Fingers crossed they start doing GL characters and give us awesome Kyle and Parallax figures!

Hope they do a Knightquest version of his armor too (blue, not red). I don't really like the red version, and it was a very brief appearance. Flamethrower wasn't until he upgraded the armor in Knightquest.

Great job by Mafex in replicating this figure to a T based on his comic look. Unfortunately I've never been a fan of the character nor the armored look. I'm looking forward to that awesome knight fall Bats and Bane though!

I wouldn’t take soft plastic. Because of the warping and distortion and the paint finish will change and it will degrade over time. This figure will last and look the same for years to come
