I have autonomic dysfunction. From multilevel spinal cord myelopathy. You can spend frustration years in anguish and pain from this. Due primarily from symptom based medical care. And you get a LOT of symptoms: profuse sweating even in cold weather. Hypertrnsion and palpitations while lying down then hypotension when standing up. Fluctuating bowel and bladder. Various dermatitis. Lots of nasal congestion. Lots of chest congestion. You can end up taking a couple dozen meds because doctors will prescribe for each symptom and ignore autonomic failure. And some of these meds are ineffective and counter productive.

How are visceral afferents related to the sympathetic nervous system? I assume because they are sensory they don't go to the lateral horn? as per the rule in neuro 'motor in front, sensory in back?' How do they come into feedback loops? Thanks for your videos, they are so informative and engaging!
