This formula is very complicated and need time.. I have simple formula EDD= add 9 month and 7 days to LMP date Ex- 3rd January 2018 ,,,add 9 month to Jan it will be octomber and 7 days to i.e 3+7=10... So ,Ans= 10 octomber 2018... Which one is easy now🤟🤟🇮🇳🇮🇳indian style

Great video. With the calculations for January, February and March, you could also add 9 to the months and 7 to the days knowing that is the duration from the last normal menstrual period to the expected date of delivery.

We do it 9 + 7 or 9 + 7 + 1 And for the days of the month, I have a poem I remember when I was a child: 30 days are in September, April, June, and November All the rest are 31 Except February alone.

Hello sir, is the ultrasound rely on the LMP? or should i say, my duedate via Ultrasound is sept.29! My first Ultrasound Took last feb.18 that time i am 8 weeks nd 2 days pregnant, so in ultrasound they also ads 2 weeks to set a duedate?

Due date given after ultrasound is called REDD. Its not same as EDD. REDD more accurate than EDD. Usually dr more trust to REDD than EDD.

What if the patient has a menstrual cycle other than 28 days? Like for a 30 day menstrual cycle, do you have to add another two days? To me it seems like you would.

Just to make the subtraction easy, and not to get confused. Like u can subtract 3 from 13 and get 10 which is month October. Rather u subtract 3 from 1.
