*The term ‘gravida’ describes the total number of pregnancies that a woman has had, regardless of how they ended. The total includes any current pregnancy. The term ‘parity’ describes the number of live births at any gestation or the number of stillbirths after 24/40. The last one is G7 P3+5. She has 3 living children n had 5 ectopic pregnancies. Although she was pregnant once with the twins they are considered to be 2 individuals

It's simply not discussed - which could be significant. Perhaps the parity summary figure isn't provided when TPAL is complex? Don't know This is the point that might be expanded upon. Thanks again.

Great video! Regarding the last case, why isn't the "TPAL" reported as 2153? I though "T" stood for termed "deliveries", and thus having twins at 38 weeks would count as 2 termed deliveries.Thanks

Para is 2 I think. Para is the # of births completed at 20 weeks or longer, twins/triplets count as 1, and and stillbirths count as well. But the pregnancies have to last at least 20 weeks. This video did not touch on that which I find frustrating.
