I want to clarify that I'm not suggesting this device or treatment is unsafe or ineffective. In fact, it's one of the most effective anti-aging treatments available for facial rejuvenation. The purpose of this video is simply to emphasize how important it is to understand facial anatomy when using heat-based treatments that can potentially interact with facial fat pads and superficial nerves - which applies to many treatments like RF, high frequency, and HIFU/MFU to name a few. Since this is a SMAS-focused treatment, you don't actually need to treat the entire face. By targeting specific areas of the SMAS layer, you can achieve overall lifting, tightening, and rejuvenation effects. This is different from superficial treatments like RF, microcurrent, or electroporation, which work best when covering the entire face since they focus on improving complexion. Think of it as an art form - similar to how dermal fillers are strategically placed in certain zones to achieve specific outcomes, or how Botox is used in just a few key areas to create overall facial harmony. Please don't let all this detailed information overwhelm or worry you. I'm sharing things I've learned as part of my aesthetics training, because I believe knowledge is power. Understanding your treatment options helps you achieve the best results tailored to your specific needs and situation. And once you get the hang of it, it's really quite straightforward! (No markings needed - instinct kicks in) For anyone looking to take their anti-aging routine to the next level, HIFU and the High Focus Shot are absolutely fantastic investments that can give you those wonderful results you're looking for. Hopefully this answers a lot of the questions I'm seeing :) Note: I may refer to the nerves by shortened names and the areas they are located, as well as their full names - just in case you felt like you needed to tell me that's not it's full name whenever I shorten them :P 💖kzbin.infogaming/emoji/7ff574f2/emoji_u1f6cd.png

@TJTutorials21 күн бұрын
Most Hifu is better suited for the lower cheeks/jowls area. Anything above 2mm will be pretty ineffective for forehead wrinkles. I combine 1mm microneedling with daily application of the Calecim Professional Serum. Obviously, I also get a little bit of neurotoxin in my forehead twice a year - so that helps massively for softening lines - but it’s not necessary if you perform regular micro needling 😊

Hi. So this one is more like ultherapy instead of HIFU. It's easy to think of the Ultra Tune as Thermage (seeing that they both use RF) However, it isn't actually anything like Thermage. It doesn't penetrate as deep, it's not generating sufficient heat for collagen banking, the wave patterns are polar opposites, and it's a very different frequency. So if we say RF is the same across the device spectrum? then yes - but in reality, it's not :)

You’d think that, right. But the distance between the epidermis to the skull bone ranges between six and 12 mm. on average, the smas layer can be found anywhere between five and 10 mm deep to the skin surface here. Sooo, for the areas of use and no-go zones, I'm being very conservative. (It's always easier to destroy fat than to replace it - so I just want to make sure people know that) Perhaps the device specs mean it's not hot enough to impact the fat or nerves (should you accidentally hit one) but it's hard to know because none of this is made publicly available. As an when this info becomes available, I'll be able to update things :) A lower power level is always the best option when starting or unfamiliar with a modality, but again, I can't estimate the temperatures as theres no power info available to date. I wish I could elaborate more, but I just don't have the details needed to say yes or no right now.

Can this be used on the back of my neck, double chin, or nose if I have excess fat & drooping there?
@TJTutorials18 күн бұрын
It can’t be used on the nose, and the back of the neck is dependent on where exactly. For the double chin, yes, it’s often used for that area. ☺️

Ma queste precauzioni valgono anche per il Booster pro?

No, the booster Pro runs on very different modalities that are safe to be used across the entire face.

Hello! Do you press the bottom for the shot constantly? Or do you press and let go on and off?? I’ve used my device twice and I still don’t know how to work it 😅 Also I’m not feeling any sensation at all 😢 Please help!! Thank you so much!!🙏🏼💜
@TJTutorialsАй бұрын
Soooo, you power it on with the small rectangle button in the back of the device. Select your power level by pressing it again. Then once you have your gel or serum on your skin, press the round circle button on the front once for 1hz, or push and hold for 2 seconds to activate 2hz. When the led flashes, the device is active.

This is so odd it looks like there's hardly any area of the face to treat. What good is it if you cannot use it around the lip area for example?
@TJTutorialsАй бұрын
It's all about understanding what lies beneath the skin in that area. By all means, you could treat around the lips, but you run the risk of causing unwanted damage to the branches of the arteries and nerves, there's also very little in the way of fascia in this zone, so you'd see little to no results. Other things like microneedling, microcurrent, and even gentle RF would be better suited - especially for lines and collagen stimulation. Ultimately, I am being very conservative with my mapping because this is designed and tested on a Korean customer base with Korean beauty ideals steering it all. This means there's slight differences in anatomy, in desired outcomes, and in whats seen as okay to thin out. Also, on a side note, targeted tightening of the SMAS can deliver beautiful results without needing to cover it in its entirety - much like placement of filler or neurotoxins in a few but carefully selected places can harmonise the face for the better. As a home-use device, this won't be as hardcore as in-clinic ones, but I think having all of the knowledge you need to protect your facial fat, nerves, and veins is a must - because even home-use devices can be misused and cause issues :) Hope this helps.

I just purchased from one of your eBay affiliates and it is legit. I got it due to your excitement over it. I feel no heat or tingly but am set on level 1. Just used it and watched this video after. Oops. I followed their shorts video. So many less areas to treat. I did order the rf one from their Black Friday sale. Maybe you can do a video of how you would use both. Would you still purchase this knowing what you know now or would you avoid. I’m going to continue to use. Thanks!

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE it and think it is an amazing device for a great price. I'm just being overly cautious as I would rather people knew everything they need to know about the modality - and then adapt it to how they feel it best fits their needs. Using it in moderation over the cheeks should be fine, but I just don't want to risk it myself until I've had it long enough to see how I'm actually responding to it :D
@AngelaBoer-fg5ehАй бұрын
@@TJTutorials your eBay link is definitely a great price! And I would rather be overly cautious and not lose face fat! Thanks for the warnings about the device!
@capet5593Ай бұрын
Thank you for the valuable information. That’s a lot of face to avoid using.
@TJTutorialsАй бұрын
it is, but the areas that are treated create plenty of lift and tightening for the rest of the face. Obviously, the cheeks can be done, but I personally would avoid the area like the plague (just because I like volume there) :D
@aleksp2105Ай бұрын
Thanks for video. I bought this device based on your last review but I had researched ulthera a lot and made the link that this may likewise cause issues if done blind. I appreciate the face map and explanation a lot. One area I was wondering about was under the chin. The medicube video says it’s safe, but I don’t fully trust them as their video also shows them going over cheeks. Thanks so much for the time you put into this.
@TJTutorialsАй бұрын
@aleksp2105 I actually use mine under the chin without any problems whatsoever. Obviously, there are a couple of lymph nodes that you want to be aware of, but they are mostly deeper than the frequency will reach. It makes me so happy to hear people are researching things like ulthera, and if this device is indeed mfu and not hifu, it is essentially ultherapy. Keep on researching and questioning, it's the ultimate way to get the most out of your devices and treatment sessions. 😁

Can someone recommend a RF device that doesn't require any type of gel? TIA!
@vrteeeeАй бұрын
Medicube ultra tune
@TJTutorialsАй бұрын
Do you not like using gel? While the Ultra Tune doesn't require any gel (you still need to apply serum or moisturiser first) I personally do not rate it at all (I'm not affiliated or sponsored by them - so I can be totally honest without needing to big the device up for commissions) There are many RF devices out there for a lower price that deliver superior results. I love Medicube, especially the Booster Pro, but the RF, well I'm not a fan.
@cheniah976113 күн бұрын
Thanks for that! If not medicube, what RF is your favorite? I do love the idea of not having to use a gel though...❤ @@TJTutorials

Little bit more of anatomy. Asian skin and men skin is more dense and if your skin is thin, be extra careful with asian devices. They are designed and tested on asian skin. It is intense. It can cause thinning of fat pads and broken cappliaries. No matter what they suggest or say - this is what i see and experience
@TJTutorialsАй бұрын
I love that you mention this! Before the video was edited, I actually mentioned that these devices are primarily designed for the Asian market, and therefore are tested on Asian skin and with Asian beauty standards in mind. (Which is often smaller v-line jaw, smaller cheeks, rosebud lips - whereas with the average western standards a more sculpted jawline, plumper cheeks, and larger lips are seen as desirable). Obviously, the modality is used around the world safely. But without understanding the power outputs of the device, has it been optimised specifically for Asian skin or is it designed for all types? This is what I was on about with transparency on the specs being so important. ❤️
@DSmith-ix1xf17 күн бұрын
Thank you very much for your comment. This is what I have seen and experienced as well. They are very good if approached in the right way. Like feeding a tiger, proceed gently and with caution. Once your skin gradually gets used to them and gets thicker, then you can get the rewards.
@blank27035Ай бұрын
I am really confused because this tutorial shows the device being used high on the cheek area kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZPYhoiDZrqjgposi=RRCNgfOstwDYQG-Q
@TJTutorialsАй бұрын
I totally feel you with that! Here’s the thing - these devices are designed and tested on Asian skin with Asian beauty standards in mind - smaller cheeks, smaller jaw, etc. Facial anatomy also varies slightly between the different ethnicities, and this doesn’t appear to be taken into account (skin thickness, bone density, structure). When you realise that this frequency can actually melt holes into Perspex (as demonstrated on the Korean website) it becomes even clearer for the need to avoid things like facial nerves and the fat pads.) and why these haven’t been mentioned, I don’t know. Now I’m not saying that you absolutely cannot treat over the cheeks, I’m just being overly cautious and demonstrating what I would personally do because once you’ve lost that fat, it’s hard to get back. I would stick to the lowest levels over those areas marked off and pay really close attention to any changes. Essentially, understanding the modality and how it works in the skin, and also understanding the differences between beauty standards, testing standards, and slight anatomical differences goes a long way with keeping your skin plump, volumised, and safe. I guess sometimes we need to look beyond what being shown in its most basic form and I’ve covered this in my studies before, and I just want to make sure that people have all of the knowledge they need to use this as safely as possible. Hence the extra conservative markings. 😊
