A tip from a slav: in medieval Europe we used to hung upside down on fences jugs and pots so they could dry better and not get dirty. Maybe you can decorate so the plank fences

It's an exploit its a bit hard to explain but you need to stand next to it at the right angle and drop a basket from your inventory. I'm doing a series at the minute and will be showing how to do this in episode 4 which will be in a few weeks.

@skyrimnexus-gi7lw oh I see what you mean yeah it's literally just a case of being as careful as possible I'm afraid 😫 you can make things easier like working from the back to the front to minimise knocking stuff over by having to over and behind stuff at the front but yeah no real technique other than being patient and careful 😂 if it makes you feel better I still regular knock things over and have to start from scratch, just a bit of perseverance!

Ah thanks so much! Yeah I definitely do but sometimes it'll be quite a thought out, fleshed out idea in my head like Fort Racimir, other times like Rumhampshire it'll be a bit more vague and I'll just go with the flow. Swampton, which will be coming out soon, was only supposed to be a couple houses originally. Now it's a fully fledged town, so yeah, really depends a lot!

I really wish I could decorate my village as good as this, however my biggest constraint is that I haven't unlocked nearly 1/3 of all the items/decorations. One thing I hate about MD is that the decorations need to be unlocked, and it takes a long time too. I mean it's fair that you need points to progress further in the game, but decorations have zero impact on your progression in terms of game balance.

Yeah it can get really frustrating. My advice is if it's getting to the point where it's wearing your enjoyment of the game down, adjust the xp gain multiplier in the pause menu customise game options. I did one playthrough, my initial one, without touching any of those settings but now I turn them up to the max! It's still not super quick so it doesn't feel like you've taken too much of the challenge away in my opinion. You can always adjust it if it's too fast for you, it's all about finding the right balance!

Haha this made me laugh, honestly by far the best thing about this game is the fact that dropped items aren't affected by the player or NPC's touching them. I think my PC would've been long thrown out the window if they could!!

Drop the item from your inventory and then looking at the item will prompt you with 'grab' so grab it and put it on the shelf. You can rotate the item as well but the controls will depend on what console you're on, google will point you in the right direction there!

All this game needs is WAR!!!!! Factions/Raids/Policies/Taxation/Small armies to keep it within reason of games performance.. This is cool and all but what is the point when there's nothing to fight for... What they should've done was..... Nvm, i got an idea what should be done. Sad tbh they never done it or plan to do it.

I mean the next big update is armour and crests so it's not outside the realm of possibility. I would love that but I'd want to be able to turn it on/off and also more defensive walls, buildings etc. first
