Europe in the early Middle Ages -- Nobles and clergy rule and the trade between nations brings prosperity as well as envy, distrust, and greed. Military conflict is everywhere and entire continents are changing.
In Medieval Dynasty, you take on the role of a young man who has fled from war and wants to take his fate into his own hands. From being alone, inexperienced and poor you will develop into a master of many skills, a leader of your community and the founder of a prosperous dynasty which is meant to last and prosper for generations to come. Defending against wild animals while hunting for food, gathering resources and crafting equipment, building a house and erecting a whole bustling village while founding a family all contribute to a unique gameplay experience across many genres. Tough winters and unexpected events challenge your skills and dexterity as you strive to build your own legacy.
You can choose to follow the main chapters, solve the questlines or just roam around and explore the vast medieval world - but be careful as wolves or bears may try to take a bite from you... Begin with the simplest things for your own survival like hunting and farming as well as building yourself a home. Found a family and have a heir - entice others to live near and work for you, erect many other buildings to transform your settlement into a vibrant village and, ultimately, a thriving dynasty that will reign for generations.
A massive medieval open 3D world awaits… Be aware of harsh winters and unexpected events while honing your skills to turn from a medieval survivor into the ruler of a dynasty. Grab your axe, hammer, or hunting bow - and craft your legacy!
Medieval Dynasty is a unique combination of multiple successful genres:
Survival: The need to survive, feed and ensure survival through hunting, farming and cultivation of the land.
Simulation: Create tools and weapons, construct and extend houses, stables and all manner of buildings as you grow an empire.
Role playing: Develop your own character, interact with NPCs, take care of your family and form community alliances by helping others and trading freely.
Strategy: While pioneering in the Middle Ages you will find and expand a village, manage the inhabitants, collect resources and produce all the goods you need and use or capitalize by trading them.

Super helpful. Ive been thinking about setting up mini villages around multiple mines and this makes it so much easier to plan that out. I have my current village just on the opposite side of the swamp area from yours.

Thanks! Great video. My main village is where you are. I put our house up on the hill. Great views! We sit outside the house by the campfire in the evening and look out over our thriving village. I also placed 4 houses behind us. I paired up couples with good stats in those, so our "soon to be baby" will have other kids to play with.

oh wow that's awesome! I definitely want to put my character's house up on the hill too! I'm a big fan of districts so I started at the other end of that flat area so that my "Upper District" can be by the mine. Looking forward to the view when I get it all that far! :)

2:45 open space... well, you cannot even place a resource storage at the mine entrance and even a smithy becomes a chore to place decently. The ways up are too steep for anything and the plateau below often blocks your building for no reason. Cannot recommend that spot unless you want some pain

Some people like a challenge my friend! Resources are deposited automatically so thankfully a storage is not necessary right next to the mine 😊

There's a lot of random caves on the map too that I had to double check weren't mines, that one I told you about by the fishing town while we were playing the other day is in fact, not a mine 😂

I've built by the waterfall, looked good at first but I'm not liking it now... trees are all birch that gives little wood, and the terrain is not flat... also the walk to town to sell stuff is too long. I like where you built, I think I'll try there

That is a really great spot! My brother and I started our co-op game there, the waterfall adds something to the area you really can't get anywhere else!

yeah, I noticed that as well, and that one is Outside the non-build zone, yet connected on the inside.... if it is Buildable that would be interesting. (haven't had the chance to check yet.)
