The dark steel Lamellar came from Epic Armoury, the leather was hand-made by Grace.

Hi! The tunic on the left was made by our team. You can find them at www.fellandfair.shop The one on the right Grace made using the traditional Viking Tunic pattern.

I guess this is more of a crafting question, but is Brown Paracord a viable material for lacing lamellar at weekend warrior events?

No, we do not recommend as it is synthetic. However there are many options for quality leather lace. We recommend kodiak Lace. It is a bit more expensive but very strong.

What helmet is that? Have a similar era kit and I've been agonizing over helmet choice because some are so much nicer than others. Really like the look of that helmet!
