I've always found the sounds of pencil to paper to be ridiculously relaxing and this didnt disappoint. So calming, the eraser was a great touch for an added alternate trigger as well. The drawing was fantastic too ❤❤ New sub and so glad. 😉

This is possibly my favourite ASMR video I’ve ever seen. The visual warmth, the sounds of the pencil and paper, the fact that we get to experience actual drawing (I find fake sketching ASMR just doesn’t work for me). This is a beautiful and mesmerizing video!

Practice is all. Practice comes natural for artists because we enjoy drawing in the first place..

Dementional is right. The fact that we as artists love to draw makes it so much easier to sit down for hours and just put pencil to paper. Or for me, I draw on my iPad for hours. No stylus or fancy app; just my finger on the screen and a free program. It doesn’t even have to be a good drawing either. It’s all about motivation too. If you aren’t motivated then you don’t want to practice. Find something that motivates you! For me it’s reading books and imagining scenarios in my head. If I have a clear picture I can put it down on paper.

Charcoal pencils and graphite pencils always produce the best sounds, I've found. Those were some of my favorite drawing days when I was in college; the studio would be full of skritches and paper sounds, and it was always so relaxing. I could never get the other eye to come out right, and lord help me if I tried to draw hands, but the sounds were lovely!

You asked about art eraser sounds, but I'll reply to everything including the aesthetic and your drawings: YES, and thank you for broadening my world. I know this is a months old video but I'll still be coming here regularly! + to be more specific, the clicky eraser sounds were THE perfect addition to the scratchy drawing sounds, also when tracing they made softer sounds that were beyond tingly. I liked them for the variety and the point of focus it provided.

Maybe she could do fireplace/hearth ”readings” (Whispering) of poetry, older classics, old English novels/authors, medieval themed...etc? Maybe things like Shakespear Sonnets English poetry/authors Stories/Tales of Knights/Kings &Queens Fantasy/Magic Or even later period works but themed like Edgar Allen Poe for “darker” ambience.
