Potential buff for the Rage spell: Rage lasts for as long as a person makes an uninterrupted, continuous noise. While raging, a person cannot be killed. Traitors can cast rage on themselves, but they lose their spellball for the rest of the game.

Try this variation of TTT called Necromancer: One person secretly starts as a Necromancer Two people start as zombies who can only walk and must say “brains”. Everyone else is a villager. Once someone is slain (villager or zombie), the Necromancer can bring them back as zombies and betray villagers to get more subjects. Necromancer wins if only one alive with zombies. Villagers win if they slay the Necromancer and all zombies. Zombie utopia: all villagers and Necromancer is dead and only zombies remain.

Squire (innocent) - when you draw this card the person on your right (beginning circle) is your master/knight and you sort of 'team up'. If the master turns out to be a traitor the squire will have the blood of his innocent comrades on his hands. However, when it is clearly established that the master is in fact a traitor, the squire is allowed to turn on him.

When I was a young lad we got all the kids on my street to play a lot of sword and shield type games. One was the “cleverly” named game we dubbed “Ambush”. Haha anyways....Basically we just split into two teams taking turns navigating a path in a forest by our neighborhood. Team A is the traveling caravan and Team B is a pack of rogues/thieves hiding along the route, trying to prevent team a from reaching the other side of the “map”. As kids that was enough to keep us entertained but I see now we could have added a deeper element of gameplay, actually having some sort of special item or special player Team A is guarding/escorting to a specific location. Usually turned into last man standing but we had loads of fun! Idk might be a fun mode to tweak for something like this. Cheers!

You need to manufacture some of Joerg Sprave's "Instant Legolas" attachments for Niko's Bow and for all the Toy Bows. This way you can have quick "Rapid Fire" Bow's of fun. It could be a multi-part video series, something the entire crew does together in terms of manufacturing for all the Toy Bows and any Bows people want to use in videos. That crazy rate of fire from the "Instant Legolas" is worth seeing IRL.

Thank you guys for still posting great content on Node! Really inspiring to me on making content that shows time was put in. On average my firewall videos I put 8- 12 hours into. And I ordered a few go pros so my fiance and I can shoot airsoft guns and make videos with them. Back when I was heavily inspired by FreddieW and learned how to add muzzle flashes with him. You should add a hostage function where a traitor is allowed to take someone and use them not as a human shield but as advantage points. Advantage points are the opposite of complications, you could get a machine gun, a battle shield, a scout RC, or even an ability to revive people mid-game. If an innocent hostage is shot by someone else other then the traitor or after a minute, the traitor gets two advantage points next round. But if a traitor is shot and the hostage is freed, the person who shot him and the hostage both get an advantage point each. Detectives are double the points.

Love the idea of spells! Here's a few more for you! FREEZE - The target is unable to move for 15 seconds COMMAND - The target must obey the caster for 30 seconds FRENZY - The target becomes aggressive, attacking all nearby players for 15 seconds SILENCE - The target is unable to speak for 30 seconds DISGUISE SELF - The caster may assume the status of the target for 30 seconds (or perhaps for 1 minute?) BODY SWAP - The caster may swap status cards with the target RAISE THRALL - The caster may resurrect a fallen foe, who becomes an ally but is unable to speak RESURRECT - The caster must remain alive and touching the target for 15 seconds, after which time the target returns to life. Most of these will need a play test, or be limited to certain player types. Just some food for thought though :)

You should add the Jester role. (It is medieval TTT after all) The Jester instantly dies and reveals their role if they kill someone, but wins if they are killed by a player. (Ankle shots don't count) If killed their killer also dies, with the Jester yelling "FOOL!" or something. (Traitors see the Jesters thumb in night phase, but the Jester doesn't wake up)

*Suggestion* We used to do a variant in the music building with nerf guns back in college where in addition to 2 traitors, we used a red queen card who would play the same as a traitor but had the ability to do perform one revive on a downed player, with the caveat being this; during the heads down thumbs up segment for traitors, when the traitors look around to identify each other, the red queen would have their thumb up but head down, so they wouldnt know who the other traitors were and it was up to the other traitors to identify themselves to the red queen during the match. It was fun in that it added another social element of discrete communication and gave the traitors a chance if they were overwhelmed by the innocent team. We would usually include that class in a game with a large number of players. itd be cool to see you guys try this sometime if youve got a bunch of players. been a long time watcher, first time commenting. Really appreciate the content the Node family has been putting out over the years.

A suggestion for a game: - 2/3 players set up in a defensive position with good Nerf Guns, e.g. automatics, those with good range. - rest of the players armed with pistols have to either storm the position and take the defenders out, or make it past to a "safe zone" Suggestion for TTT - each player is given 2 names as "targets" and one name as a "protectee". They then draw from a deck that contains agent and innocent cards (you want around a third of the players to be agents). To win the game if you are an agent you must kill your targets, while making sure your protectee survives. Innocents win by surviving until all agents are dead, or one has completed their mission. Thrre is potential foe agents to have the same names as their targets/protectees, which should cause some progress.

Revival (Gulag from WZ) - everyone gets one chance at a second life, but only if they defeat another slain warrior in 1v1 in the prisons. If defeated & slain, you remain out until next game. 2. Let's see dual wielding! 3. Like in BR, some sort of armor vest to add an additional body shot point, but in return, can only slow jog instead of run? 4. Temporary blindness spell 5. Challenger Mode for the defeated who are waiting for next game (like Bushido Blade, basically) - winner takes on a challenger. Standard arm/leg hit=useless, body/head=defeated 6. Padded Frisbee (with string) as flying guillotine! 7. Padded bladed fan! It's a weapon, It's a shield, Its BOTH. 8. Necromancy spell! Revive one fallen warrior to do your bidding for either one minute or until they kill 1 opponent or are re-killed. 9. Tranquil Walk spell! (from Dark Souls) - players hit by this spell can not run or jog for 1-2 minutes. 10. Nerf sponge ball flail.

A good spell the traitors could have would be an invisibility potion/disguise self. This would work by those holding the cameras wearing a cloak/uniform to hide their identity. When the person casts invisibility, you would either borrow one of their cloaks or use your own. You can use pocket parkas or other foldable coats to keep the kit hidden, and if you really want to you go above and beyond, you can give the traitors fake cameras or gimbales to really play the part

Spells for Medieval TTT. The detective and traitors only have enough to cast 1 spell Detective spells Zone Of Truth: The way it works in the game Duel Of Fate: Anybody caught in this spell are forced to fight against each other until there is only 1 person left. Detective is immune to this and can watch as carnage happens Repelling Force: A person struck by this must drop their weapon and walk away from the detective for a 10 seconds. Detective cannot attack the person affected during the countdown but can assume fighting stance to defence himself from possible traitors Traitor Spells Ice Ball: Freezes people in place RAGE: Enrages a person and they must be put down. they cannot be reasoned with or be wounded. they must be slain Zone of Deceit: When an innocent is struck, Traitor and innocent swap cards. Innocent cannot tell who's the traitor and must lie at all times.

You should try a version where you play with the roles from the card game “Bang!”. The roles are sheriff, deputies (2), outlaws (3), and renegade. Sheriff and deputies have to kill the outlaws and renegade. Outlaws have to kill the sheriff. Renegade has to be the last one alive (meaning sheriff is the last one to die at the renegades hands). Only role known is the sheriff.

Do the same thing, but a battle royale backwards where the circle expands from the center outwards rather than the usual way. That way everyone has to be in the ring at the last. Make markers on the map you could string them up high with high posts and different color ribbon to indicate each area the circle grows and a final one to indicate the ring the players have to stay inside. To add a twist to it though. Time each side everyone can be in on each half of that ring. So basically if players are in one side of the ring, they can only stay there for so long (set a timer) before they have to move to the other side of the ring. This will force the players into combat, but also make it difficult to know which direction of the ring other players might go to, to launch an attack. The players also can't double back once they decide to go in a certain direction when switching between each side of the half ring. I'm not done yet though. To further the challenge, In each ring of the circle, there is an artifact (use whatever you guys want to). Every artifact recovered gives the player who collected it a 10 second delay before having to leave a ring. Once an artifact has been captured and used, it can't be picked up and used again. Think of it like they having a super power. In a random area of the map, put a treasure chest that can unlock invincibility to the circle and ring when one possesses its contents. Once the item has been picked up it cannot be used again once dropped. You would be the first ever on the internet that I know of so far to do a reverse battle royale. Creative enough?

It would be cool to make it even more like an RPG and give players different classes. Each player draws a class card and an innocence card (except the detective who is always innocent). Detective/Sheriff: Can discover the identities of fallen players and create circle of truths. Armed with sword and shield. Healer: Can heal wounds and revive players, innocent or traitor. Armed with staff that debuffs players like slow-mo for 3 seconds so the healer can run away. Cannot do damage to other players. Archer: Long range attacks, weak at short range. Armed with toy bow and arrow obiously. Knight: Either the Knight also gets a sword and shield or a two-handed sword and can survive one killing blow. Rogue: Armed with multiple daggers and throwing knives. Mage: Armed with multiple spells that are powerful but have limited casts; freeze (x2), confess (reveals affected player's indentity) (x1), fire (basic damage attack, 2 hits to kill, one against frozen players) (x6), wind (forces players 10 feet back) (x2). I would recommend some different colored hacky sacks for the spells. Edit: reorganized and improved grammar
