Yeah that’s a really good idea actually - I started doing that after once I expanded the underground but it would work to help seal the room for sure!

Hi I have found definitely using a doorway lowers the temperature even more. also don't put the storage squares right to the wall leave one space all around. I actually go down one level lower than that and I get temperatures below 5 degrees during the summer no decomposition at all.

how you do that ? i built 2 levels down, every level with its own door, floors and walls, and still can't get below 15ª in summer. Also noted that settlers always leaves the doors opened, that happens to you too ?

I haven't had temperatures over 5 degrees but suddenly they were up around 10 I don't know why it is like it's a bug or something but mostly the temperature is below 5 make sure you put your zone one block away from the walls only use Earth walls don't build walls and put down Cobble floor

Also, build clay (brick) walls around it, it cools better than shown in the video

I really wanna like this game but the bugs are really ruining it for me. storerooms often don't protect from rot and temperature, and tiles become unususable.

So do we know that deeper is cooler now? Just started playing the game. Could i also build it under my starting base? or is that not recommended?
