First off great to see you back secondly yeah I'm probably just gonna play the remake since at least that 1 gives you the original game as a bonus. Though I do have a whole bunch of other games on my plate so it's gonna be on the back burner but at least resurrection isn't that bad of an alternative if you don't wanna get the remake and the original game bundled....... Wow the second game is neglected. At least star ocean now got every single game in it's series now easily accessible but again great job and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

I feel like MediEvil Resurrection is just the new staff at Cambridge Studio trying to play catch-up with its PS2 contemporaries like Jak, Ratchet, and Sly to rather middling degrees of success (But Dan's midriff is still peak character design and I will stand by that front)

Huzzah, Black Sheep Reviews lives. Curiously, Resurrection is available on PS4/PS5 via emulation. Even though those platforms already have a dedicated remake. I mean, okay. PS4/PS5 also has the PSP Toy Story 3. Even though the PS3 version is not available via that streaming thingy. Which feels... weird. Especially since the PS3 version is seen as the definitive one (as it had playable Emperor Zurg).

Part of me almost wants to see Al Zalaam return in a potential sequel to Medievil 2. Just... Minus the potentially racist undertones in places.

Well he does become free at the end of that game. I kinda wished we got the 3rd game somewhat since there was alot of interesting stuff going on there. Still, it does kinda make me question Sony more about why they havent been using alot of their IPs lately.

I feel like the biggest misstep of resurrection was focusing to much on humor factor. The original was very good at setting a dark tone so the humor that was there worked as a tension breaker when needed. Also it's kind of unreal that this series has just as many remakes as it does original installments. It's the only anything I can think of that has four installments with three of them just being the first one!

What’s wrong with the 2000’s style of British Humor and the way the Amazon thirsts for Dan? Why does everything now need to be the “modern” standard of unfunny npc Reddit tier Humor? You almost made it to the end without a dislike, but here ya go. Thank god games like these exist and can’t be touched or changed anymore. Truly a better time in gaming.
