Andy, I found your channel since I was looking to get back into 40K & you have inspired me to build an Astra army and I am starting with a box of shock troopers. Love the videos!

Literally just started painting for the first time and got a sentinel yesterday!!! The dabbing the green over the armour plates just saved me man I based it black and as soon as I started with the green the black was streaking through!!! Lifesaver hahahah

Cadia stands! I've never met anyone that dislikes the Guard. In a universe full of transhuman super people the regular people still manage to be awesome. Who needs all that fancy stuff when you have the old reliable laser gun and a Leman Russ tank? I love the Sentinel. It reminds me of the AT-ST from Star Wars in the all the right ways, except these are properly grimdark.

Love the looks of the new Imperial Guard. Sadly, the prospect of re-buying my guard army is out of the question, so I will cherry pick the units/models I want to add. As for the painting... love it as always. The stippling of the armor works so well. Will try that when I get a Rogal Dorn (or two). Awesome tutorial!

Loving the paint job! Just got a question about the model - how poseable is the new kit? I really liked the old legs with their different locking points for the joints and the ball joint at the foot, it made every sentinel feel unique from a model building point of view, but every single new sentinel I've seen is in pretty much the same pose, which has me worried about how poseable the new kit will be. Would it be possible to make multiple sentinels and have each of them in a different pose?
@MediocreHobbies2 жыл бұрын
I don’t believe it’s as possible as as the old one. But there are build options for the legs so they won’t all be in the same pose.

hey man! Just wondering, how did you manage to do those poles that hold up the wires on your base? are you just using some type of popsicle stick?
