It’s “losers,” not “loosers.” I’ve been with my husband 22 years and in the beginning of our relationship, we played Xbox together all of the time. (I was pretty badass at Halo) But once we had children, I stopped playing as much and he continued. At one point in time he worked out of town 2 weeks, home for 2 weeks. When he was out of town, I didn’t mind him playing, but when he was home I expected him to be present. He would be on Xbox live for 8-10 hours a day playing with his SINGLE brother. It almost destroyed our marriage. At a certain point, you need to grow the fuc* up and put your family first.

My hubby plays video games everyday. He is one of these high earning men all these women are crazy about snatching for themselves. He works an extremely stressful job and when all of his responsibilities of the day are done, he takes some time to play and decompress. The funny thing is he feels he is sometimes wasting his own time playing and is concerned of the message it sends to the children. I will never tell him that he is wasting his time, and I honestly don’t think it’s a waste. Some games require a level of strategy and intelligence. Even if it didn’t, it relaxes him. We’re big on board games as well. Our youngest was playing chess at 3. I’ll take my Battlefield, CrossOut, Gran Turismo, This War of Mine playing husband any day. Some women know a geek and gear heads are the most stress free type of man. They’re either in the garage or in a chair.

People continue to play sports, dance, gather and celebrate as they did when they were children even as adults. The scripture speaks to the mindset. Children have to learn responsibility and accountability. They do not always understand the implications of their actions, nor do they aspire to weight the costs. An adult is expected to understand their role and perform their duties accordingly. They are expected to contribute and behave honorably. Playing a video game, responsibly doesn’t violate this. A lot of men in my family turn to video games in order to decompress at the end of a long week or to relieve stress when they need alone time. I thank God that they are all doing well and successful in life. There’s a difference between these type of men and the losers that don’t do anything but play games. If these are the guys that surround this young lady, then she should question what she’s doing wrong in life that she mostly attracts these type of losers.

Well I'm a happily married man and I've been playing video games since I was 4 years old. My birthday is in 2 weeks and my wife is taking me to a (Retro gaming Arcade) for my birthday. I'll play video games till I die and I have a full time job for the last 11 years. After work I play my PS5 and Nintendo switch for about 2 hours every day and about 5 hours a day on my days off. My life is good and my wife is right there next to me.🤣🤣🤣
