This is a review of the Medion Erazer E10 Core i5 gaming laptop. It comes with dedicated Nvidia GeForce GTX1650 graphics and a Full HD matte finish high refresh rate screen. This is our review of the device which is to replace an old Windows 7 Samsung laptop for a Client.

I'm looking to upgrade and had my eye on a Defender 10750 but my current machine (Aspire/2500U) still fine for what I do, so happy to wait 6 months if there's a big saving to be had. Is it a bad time to buy just now? Also wonder if it would be worth going an extra £100-£200 on top if there's any significant improvement with a different machine. Waited this long to play GTA5 (daughter's XBox controller fries my brain) so what difference does another few months make? Thanks for this video.

ive got the 1660 ti version of this things a little beast tbh ive opened up the back had a look the 16 gig ram is duel channel and ive noticed theres a 2.5 inch slot for a ssd so im guna buy the cable that connects a ten pin tiny thingy lol to a ssd and stick a ssd in there to increase the space

Hi, thanks for the video, I found it very useful. Just a quick question: did you find the computer/fans very loud or just normal compared to similar laptops?

Normal fan noise compared to similar spec'd machines and only under load. It's silent when not working hard. All in all a good powerful laptop and when the GPU performance requires the fans, they're not loud by any means. I guess if you're running something like COD on there then I suspect the fan speed will ramp up and become noisier.

@ Just the 1 M.2 SSD slot but you could upgrade the storage by cloning the M.2 drive to a higher capacity drive and replacing it.

As this has a dedicated GTX1650 4GB graphics then it will support and external display of 1440P, however if you're using it for gaming then you should expect your FPS to drop as it will be compensating for powering the additional pixels from 1080 => 1440.

You can, however you'll either need a USB Type C hub with 2 HDMI ports in it or a USB Type C hub with a single HDMI port and utilise the built in HDMI port in the laptop.

Yes. The main storage is NVMe (PCIe x4, 2280) however you can add a 2.5" SSD as an additional drive (needs to be no taller than 7mm)

It's quite good for a starter laptop. Windows 11, fast turning in, McAfee free for 2 months I beleive. But this happens alot of times when I'm playing games, a notification comes up and it like stops you from playing your game till you click on the notification. But overall god price, around 600-800

@@georeny6048 Mine hasn't gone black at all, also I played it in halo, war thunder and Roblox, to change the FPS you can go to the graphics manager and change to 110 FPS. Standard is 60 and lowest is 30.

Don't lie bought couple medion products with even higher specs and they all got heating issues, as soon as put a game on cpu temps are 100° Celsius so common stop advertising shit products
