Please, do NOT give up or compromise on your discipline as I did brothers and sisters. It's akin to flaking out one semester of school then trying to make up your grades, it is sooo much harder than just maintaining it and staying in the flow. As brother Ben mentions, don't let doubt creep in, doubt of efficacy, doubt of outcome, of sensations, and changes in yourself, or of the Truth that it will eventually lead you to. Many have come right up to the point of being given the keys to the Kingdom, only to let them go through doubt, fear and a lack of faith, and discipline. Bless your journeys, bless the I Am
@morgan1985uk2 ай бұрын
i am at the point you are talking about. feels like everyhing is slipping away and that everything I experienced during my awakening was not real.
@TOGAB2 ай бұрын
@@morgan1985uk Oh make NO mistake, it was real, whatEVER you experienced was as real as your very soul is real. I doubted the visions, downloads and synchronicity that I experienced, baaaad mistake, and I knew better. What is NOT real is this 3rd dimension which WE are manifesting. What is not real are these things we as powerful multidimensional beings of Light are manifesting by slowing down vibrations to form solid matter. You MUST except that you are not a human but a powerful eternal fractal of Creator just playing around with being human and with solid matter. What is NOT real is anything outside of you, as insane as this world and your fallible brain will tell you it is to think that way. In fact We are so creative and powerful that you and I are the ones creating the experience of "slipping away" and in my case falling off my path. WE brought these experiences into our realms. Now, the only question is, why. Why am I "slipping away" from the Truth that is true always? I contend it is so that we will appreciate that Truth and our awakening more. It's a case of you never miss anything until it's gone, and you must realize; spiritual growth, awakening, and our very existence on a existential level is cyclical not linear. We have these "low periods" so we have a point of reference and an appreciation and recognition of what we experience. Picture a pendulum. It only swings as far one way as it has swung the other. This in not grade school; 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and so on. No this is; yaaay I made it to 6th grade, and then SH*T! YOU yourself decide to go back to kindergarten, simply for the experience. Also Morgan, understand this, which I had to get through my head. You are awakened, period, there IS no going back and even YOU as an avatar, a human can't stop your awakening, it doesn't work that way, it's not a zero sum game. Your soul's progression has been set, you ARE awake and the journey with its hills and valleys continues into eternity. I've been full on freaking out for 2 years now and for no reason, and I know better. These low points are necessary, critical, and part of the progression. But this IS the 3rd dimension where physical movement and action ARE required, so discipline is required. Your mind was intended to be a servant NOT the pilot, and your body is not you, it is a transport vessel and a tool just as time is, so that we CAN manuever through, experience and manipulate in this dimension. You're good. Just look forward to your inevitable return to what your higher self has in store for you, the upswing, the continued progression of your eternal journey. You are that powerful that you brought this seemingly "negative" experience into your awareness simply so that you will have had it, no other reason. Imagine your joy and appreciation when you do "return", when you never went anywhere. Bless you and your journey, you got this.

26 y/o male. I've been meditating for many many years, and yes. It has really changed my life! The mind/ego is quiet 9/10 times, there is some mastery but not full mastery. I've started without any guidance or help, I did what was 'feeling intuitvely right'. Started with sitting comfortably, eyes closed. Just observing everything that I experienced without judgement. Letting everything come and go. Over time al the senssasions and distractions become less and less. Later on, when there was some mastery over all the sensations and the mind/ego. I've started with single pointed focus meditation. To this day. I'am still practicing single pointed focus meditation (following the breath). It's not easy. It surely takes patience and disipline, but it's all worth it! Dear Ben, I've been following you for some time now. Got to say that your video's are really insightfull and helpfull! For that I thank you sincerely! I've been waiting for a teacher to show himself. Good luck to you all on your journey! 'The only way out, is in'

@julielaw78113 ай бұрын
I have just watched a previous video about channeling the divine, th3n went about making a snack, when a thought popped in my head about which is ego and which is my consciousness speaking, who do I listen to , it occured to me that if the ego is trying to stop me being conscious then why does my ego say things like,, I am going to meditate today etc, wouldn't the ego be telling me not to. So then I thought, is that my consciousness speaking and telling me to meditate today? I also remembered you saying to ask divine for help, so I did, I asked to help me understand which is ego and consciousness, then this video started to play, I couldn't believe it wow, the divine. (I would usually call it the universal oneness) actually answered me with this video. Thank you.

I found it easier to go into the ego, transmute the walls my ego had up, stopping me from connecting to my higher self and now can connect at will
@MaxDooDat27 ай бұрын
Hi, what do you mean by "go into the ego" and "transmute the walls"? What exactly were your tactics? Thanks.
@adrianmiles76787 ай бұрын
@@MaxDooDat2 one way to think about the ego is that its an armour/filter built by the what u r taught as a child and the patterns from ur experience. Ur ego or conscious mind will put up protective walls because it’s triggered by the subconscious a lot of the time. So to go deeper into the subconscious, you may need to clear the barrier being put up by the ego. The ego is just another facet of ur personality that u need to understand and heal as well. My tactics were to remove the blocks I had put up so I can do deeper subconscious healing. I have CPTSD and alexithymia, so my experiences had put up walls stoping me from feeling emotions at all. So I needed to clear the ego blocks so I could feel emotions again and get access to the subconscious. I like to use transmutation as it more accurately describes what u r doing. People also use integration or healing but changing a deeply held belief or feeling from say anger into understanding is what is happening. Normal psychiatry uses talk therapy which is communicating with ur ego and understanding/manipulating ur patterns but doesn’t get to the subconscious emotions where the real healing is. Once I had cleared enough blocks I had the capacity to feel the subtle energy of my higher self and tune into it at will.
@TammyMccain2 ай бұрын
Yes exactly what were the steps you did so we can all learn please
@adrianmiles76782 ай бұрын
@@TammyMccain I’ll give you the cliff notes as this is an advanced technique with my spin on it and is mainly used for shadow work. Take what u find useful and throw the rest in the cosmic dustbin. When u find urself triggered, ask urself what 3 emotions you are feeling. Once u have at least 2, ask what the story is behind it. Once I have the story, I will create a narrative/summary that describes the behaviour, how it affects me, how I learnt it and why it no longer serves me. I will then check in with the part of self this relates to see if it’s correct and if so I then self EMDR it. It’s a different path than meditation but will get u to the same destination as the EMDR neural trims the emotions from the memory/belief so u dont have to give it time to integrate. It can be dangerous as well because if u dont have a belief structure to switch to, it can destabilise u.

How did teaching and talking about awakening started for you?
@NeilBradleyMS7 ай бұрын
I have what I feel to be a very important question for you Ben. You talk a lot about how important it is to get into a comfortable meditation position, as you do in this video also. I get it, I really do, however I am unable to do so. I think I might speak for some other members of your audience too. It's incredibly difficult for me to get on to the floor, and then when I do, getting up is practically impossible. I have very stiff muscles (due to illness) so I literally cannot get into any of these positions. I'm so interested in learning meditation, but all the time I kind of feel I'm not doing it properly because the most I can do is sit and lean back in my most comfortable chair. I would love your opinion on this, or maybe it would be a good topic to cover in a video, just a thought. I am gleaning so much knowledge from your videos, I'm watching several a day. Because of my condition, I want to become a master at meditation and experience mobility again in an out of body state. Without going into too much detail, I started having strange sleep experiences at the beginning of this year, I believe these experiences are the start of Astral Projections (sensations of floating, all over body tingles, whooshing wave noises in the ears). This is what has led me to your phenomenal channel. Keep up the incredible work your are doing. All the best - Neil (UK)
@bensmithreal7 ай бұрын
Hey Neil, thanks for asking this. When I say ‘get into a formal position’, this doesn’t necessarily mean it has to be cross legged on the floor. It’s perfectly good to sit on a chair, but there are certain intricacies to each position (even sitting on a chair) that make a big difference. This is really the point I’m making. Really pleased you’re enjoying the videos & that they are helping you!

Consciousness is governed by the mind? I would say the other way round 😂
@christophersumner94469 ай бұрын
Hi Ben, What are your thoughts to those who would say that Meditation is a antithetical to Christianity because when you are doing yoga you are actually doing a form of eastern Hindu worship, and therefore worship to another god. People claim that any spiritual contact you will have with entities are demons even through meditation. Thoughts? Thanks
@RodCornholio9 ай бұрын
Can’t speak for Ben, but if Ben is enlightened, he would say that there IS only Consciousness. Really. The awareness (“god”) that looks out into the world through the Christian’s eyes, is the same awareness that looks out into the world through _your_ eyes. When this is understood (and the experience is like getting a joke that’s always been around you, but never noticed), then arguing or debating that issue becomes somewhat pointless. It no longer becomes an intellectual problem; _it_ - the notion of demons, worshipping, gods, Hinduism, etc. war, famine, watching cartoons, - is just another experience of Consciousness. What meditation allows/trains, is that (Big C) Consciousness (deeper/higher/less earthly-desires-based _aspects of itself_ ) starts to run the show - your life. Ego/mind IS part of Consciousness (because that’s all there is) but it’s like having the child run your life. The Boss is probably better. Best Regards Meditate
