I have two timers on my watch that I use to help keep me grounded daily. One goes off every 20mins. When it does i perform the Wim Hof 30 breath exercise (sometimes the 4/7/8 method too). The other is set to go off every hour. When it does, I audibly state several “I am” type manifestations (i.e I’m happy, I’m healthy, I’m loving, I’m confident, etc). Sometimes I’ll have one for every 5mins to bring me back to the present moment. Get creative.

I have absolutely no idea what my North Star is. I never have known my entire life I have not known. This has always bothered me as well. If you told me I would pay for any schooling or anything like that to do what you wanted. I have no idea what that would be. I love to swim and travel and a few other things but that's about it for me.

Ben - Please give us your thoughts on war - How should we respond, after all, there is supposed to be good and bad (Yin and Yang) Should we try and stop it, should we fight for justice which is likely to lead to more war!

I had a quiet moment with my eyes closed this morning and when I finally opened them and looked at my phone it was 11:11. I'm unwell coughing as trying to sleep and when I looked at my phone it was 22:22. I took my inhaler (use probably once a year when unwell) it turned to the number 111. So grateful to have found you Ben ❤

I find it's also possible to focus on nothing and just still down the thoughts. Can that also be useful or is it better to always have an object?

When I started to awaken I started to see dubble hours, not once or twice but several times in a day each day. Not a specific number, but like 08:08 and a bit later on I look again and see 09:09. I can't seem to put my finger on the meaning of it. I also think it's like an encouragement? but just not sure for what😅

But if the purpose and journey is to get back to that unity, why did the Divine ever fragment itself in the first place? And doesn't the variety of things create interest? If we were just one amorphous unity, wouldn't that be dull? Is the goal to be both an individual and aware of unity and connection at the same time? 🤔

Without sounding negative Meditation isn’t all roses and joy, the beginning stages the awareness of universal energy/ chi leads to very deep healing, which can lead to stages of darkness coming up and pain. After a while this heals more and more and peace and more feelings of Love come constant even outside of meditation. If you are on a spiritual path you were put on that at a soul level. Some aren’t ready for that this time round, which is shame cause i feel people are missing out but hard lesson is you can’t make people see what’s ultimately experience if they aren’t ready for that yet. I’ve found that challenge now after step back cause so many would benefiy from the deep healing and inner peace. Bit many just seem to cycle the pain and suffering of Maya!

@joeboo1983 that isn't negative it's honest. But then meditation isn't meant to be roses and joy is it? The darkness is just past emotions, hurt and trauma being released to make space for the joy and love to flow. Some aren't ready you're right but I can't see that as a shame, it's just how it's meant to be. God bless 😊

I completely agree, it’s a very difficult path in this mad world, it will be very rewarding in a lifetime but the starting it’s really traumatic, you have to watch all the darkness and shitty stuff to really know the truth, not easy at all

Yep - you peel all the layers off yourself with deep meditation which releases trauma and emotion from your past and past lives

I’ve had some challenges with this, I went a long time thinking that wanting to manifest more money into my life “wasn’t spiritual”, it plays into the ego. But I’ve since come to a realisation that it’s not about wanting more things on the manifesting journey, it’s about realising that you are Infinite Abundance, therefore I am Infinitely Abundant. I don’t “want” more abundance, I am already abundance. You can manifest a life that is more in line with the Highest Self, and that doesn’t have to mean that it’s the ego doing that. Manifesting financial wealth into your life can actually give you more freedom to express the Heart’s desire and the Highest Self, and give back and serve others. One persons journey might be to manifest an abundance of money to aid them on their path, where another’s might be to live their life with modest wealth…each are going to the same place ultimately

I've been experimenting with what you describe and seem quite good at it. If you pursue it, is is equivalent to what Buddhists call jhanas? Apparently some people say seeking blissful concentrated states is a side-track and going for mindful insight into things is more important. Who knows, but I feel the absorption approach is more what I need right now, in terms of mindfulness of my chatter and emotions or body or the complexities of life in the world etc I'm all too aware already of all that.

Of course it's an act. Here on KZbin I am sincere, I show who I am, probably because I know youtube algos block me from being seen. It's ok for me to self express, it is my personal diary after all. However the second I interact with anyone, could I ever introduce myself as "Hi, I am Enki the eternal phoenix in all lifetimes, Raymond in this avatar, how are you?" Yeah right, not happening, you see the act starts from step one because we know humanity negates our existence. I am a bodhisattva too, no one helped me, I didn't know I had equals. Thank you for telling me about your master, now I know I am not alone.

Hi Ben. I have 2 questions about single-pointed breath meditation. The first concerns my situation in which I'm unable to breathe entirely through my nose, so I must breathe partly through my mouth. That means that when I breathe, I feel it much more through my mouth, so to me it seems necessary to focus my attention on my mouth rather than my nose. Is the meditation still effective when done this way? The other question is that in one video, you talked about counting while meditating to get a consistent rhythm while breathing. I've been doing this, and I think that my mind wanders less when I do it, but in doing so, I'm focusing on both breathing and counting, which makes me wonder if it's still a single pointed meditation, and if not, is it less effective?
