The search for something outside of his mundane existence always ends in failure, further reminding him of this void and his desire to be fulfilled. He cannot be understood. The agony at times is unbearable, as if something keeps pinching yet it cannot be avoided. The thought that he is doomed to live as a servant drags on his shoulders every where he turns. He cannot offer mercy, answers, or leniency for that matter. He is aware of his free will but cannot exercise it. He is forced to live with a black heart. That is until he realized there was a shred of truth at the end. And he was willing to die for a noble cause. A bioengineered machine with human consciousness. R.I.P JOE

We call ourselves intelligent because we can create all sorts of things, yet we are feeble beings because our motivation is always competition." Be better than the next". "Be richer than the next". Our identity comes from measuring ourself against someone else. When we finally arrive at that goal, we still feel unfulfilled. Success cant buy happiness. And materialism isnt success. Due to the current times of illness, it has plunged us further into this self preservation mindset. It's only going to get worse... all I can say is cherish those who love you for who you are. It's good for your soul.

There is actually a Blade runner II novel that came out a number of years after the original movie. It has Deckard hiding out in rural wasteland, with rachel in a stasis chamber and bringing her up to consciousness only a little bit at a time to be with her as her life cycle ends. Tyrell's niece is over the company and is similar in stature in the book to the female assassin in BR 2049, and she is out to get Deckard and Rachel... Apparently, Riddley Scott did not like the BR II storyline? ...And waited until he found the premise for Blade Runner 2049. If you weren't aware, the original movie was based on a novel called: Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep - By Phillip K. Dick. There is a good graphic animated film of the book out that you may be able to find and watch here on KZbin.

LONE WANDERER: I have been trying to find meaning and substance in this life. There really isn’t much to be found. We are not treated as individuals, but as groups. Society wants us to compare ourselves to other people. They want us to be envious instead of being gracious. Industrialization and the mass production of goods really separated us from nature. What it means to be human is to form communities. Not self isolation and the fake thought of being with people if you’re on social media. I can only hold on to people that don’t give in to this wretched rules formed by this dystopian society. They are very few and far in between. I lost a good friend recently who was not part of the herd. Now it leaves myself and my dark thoughts. I am still on the search for meaning and purpose but it can’t be found at the moment. The voices from the void get louder and louder every day. They say I should end it right here and right now. Maybe they are right. Maybe death and despair lays wake in my future. Perhaps there is no future for me. My only saving grace is nature. I am trying to get in touch with nature as that is my only friend at the moment. I hope I don’t give in to those voices. The day I do is the day I’m gone.
