This brings me back to the time where TASM2 was being advertising, it was so fun and joyful for me to keep up with the news, the trailers, search for all the posters from the movie and being so hyped for the launch, it was the last material about Spider-Man that made me so crazy to see, after they canceled TASM3 i couldn't be hyped for the next movies starring Tom Holland, because it was a little frustrating to see Andrew Garfield be taken from his role so quickly and without a proper conclusion to his version of Spidey

Life’s soo tough but I do have to hold on to this no matter what since I have responsibilities. Sometimes I wish I didint exist but sometimes I’m glad to be here in this beautiful world . Depression and anxiety is so real that sometimes i wish I could get some relief . In the past these days it’s soo hard to find a grip to hold on . I miss my happy smile and everything .

Coming back here after an year. Its crazy to think how much life has changed for me. An year ago i was studying my ass off back in my house, listening to this and praying to God to please let me pass the exam. It was such a hopeless phase. Now revisiting this made me realise that it wasn't that bad at all. Moving away from home, starting uni and going out in the world is so scary. Anyways the thing is how much of my mindset has changed, my worries regarding that exam do not exist and honestly its refreshing

There was once a king who offered a prize to the artist who could paint the best picture of peace. Many artists tried. The king looked at all the pictures. After much deliberation he was down to the last two. He had to choose between them. One picture was a calm lake. The lake was a perfect mirror for the peaceful mountains that towered around it. Overhead fluffy white clouds floated in a blue sky. Everyone who saw this picture said that it was the perfect picture of peace. The second picture had mountains too. These mountains were rugged and bare. Above was an angry sky from which rain fell. Lightening flashed. Down the side of the mountain tumbled a foaming waterfall. This did not appear to be a peaceful place at all. But, when the king looked closely, he saw that behind the waterfall was a tiny bush growing in the rock. Inside the bush, a mother bird had built her nest. There in the midst of the rush of angry water, sat the mother bird on her nest. The king chose this picture as the perfect picture of peace. The king chose it, “Because,” he explained, “peace is not only in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. Peace is in the midst of things as they are, when there is calm in your heart. That is the real meaning of peace.” - A story my boss once shared with me. I hope everybody here is able to find peace in their hearts and minds, despite all the chaos that life throws at us 🙏🏼

Stop chasing people who don’t want you & let them go even if it’s hard. Surround yourself with nice people. I found some really good people at the pool this summer. A few lifeguards too. I promise you nobody’s gonna judge you on what you say but if they do just leave them. I used to be quiet and alone but ever since I’ve been working out & going outside to swim I’ve been the happiest I’ve ever been. When summer is over & the pool is closed, I won’t be sad I’ll remember those people I met forever & who knows, I might see them next year or not. Find something that you enjoy doing. I found myself by working out & it’s changed me alot. I got more confidence in myself sure I might get nervous if there’s a cute girl that I wanna talk to but I just pretend that it’s only me & her at that moment like pretend that nobody else is around & I just talk sometimes I laugh at myself not in negative way just because I’m happy with myself. To whoever is reading this I hope you had a good summer. & keep up the good work. Be proud of yourself & don’t let people bring you down & remember always make the right choices.

Although TASM2 isn't a particularly great film, its spectacle of release was big for me. I was a freshman in high school and felt so much changing around me, and I didn't have any control over any of it. And while there's all this inconsistency and uncertainty, I had my friends. We were all massive Spiderman fans. The sorts of fans that could rattle off any kind of miniseries storyline, we played the games, watched the cartoons, and were all so insurmountably hyped when the MCU was slowly unveiling itself. When TASM2 started showing trailers I remember my friends and I sharing our observations we'd make: "gwen's falling so it's gotta be-" or "wait look you can see vulture's wings in the back-" so on so forth. A lot of time has passed since then, and not every friend I had then is still in my life for one reason or another. But when I check out this video, or other spiderman ambient videos, I can't help but be brought back to that time of my life. It wasn't necessarily the happiest or the most fun for me. But Spiderman was always there. The excitement, the spectacle, the investment, the friendship. Even when I couldn't count on the rest of my life being consistent, our shared love for spiderman could be. And that feeling is worth more than the quality of any film I'll ever see. Face front, true believers.

Im reading "MARVELS" by Kurt Busiek, drawn by Alex Ross. Holy moly. This music is perfect for reading it. The comic is about the silver age of Stan Lee/Jack Kirby's marvel universe told from the perspective of a NYC photographer. He witnesses things like the mutant scare, marriage of Reed and Susan Richards, and even the death of Gwen Stacy. It's an amazing story with even better artwork.
