Meditation: Our Being Is God's Being

In order to understand what prayer is, it is necessary to understand what God is, and in order to understand what God is, it is necessary to understand what you are. The practice of prayer depends upon our knowledge of ourself. If we believe we are a finite self, sharing the limits of the body and mind, we project the idea of God beyond ourself and the world. The traditional path of devotion to God attenuates and purifies the separate self, until there is the recognition that the being that you are is God's being. To pray is to abide in this empty sanctuary of the heart.

"Emptiness of self is the fullness of God" - should be our daily mantra in a world where we are constantly trying to fill up our inner painful, because feared, emptiness with objects, activities, substances, states of mind and relationships. Music, movies, books, chit-chats, social media, eating, alcohol, drugs, sex, shopping, etc - are all used in hopes of covering up the fear. This mantra can make us realize that there is nothing to be feared in that emptiness.

If you want to remain in science I would continue with the perspectives of Einstein and Nikola Tesla rather than mainstream. Einstein grasped what Rupert is saying. His religious feeling takes the form of a rapturous amazement at the harmony of natural law, which reveals an intelligence of such superiority that, compared with it, all the systematic thinking and acting of human beings is an utterly insignificant reflection. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” Einstein Nikola Tesla says "Todays scientists substitute mathmatics for experiments and they wander off through equation after equation, and eventual build a structure that has no relation to reality." Nikola Tesla saysthis I believe because they try and calculate based off of the appearances rather than the order behind the appearances. Einstein says this, There is only the way of intuition, which is helped by a feeling for the order lying behind the appearance.

Try it and stay in that "state" and you will never taste misery or suffering again. And try not to use the notion of God, because it's really misleading, unless you really understand what everything is.

5meo-dalt, (along with many compounds in both PiHkal and TiHKal) can only “assist” ones journey. Ruperts message are for both: “the sleepers” like ones who live on Facebook, NFL and Bud Light. The messsage is also for us who have awakened regardless if the awakening was from (5-Meo, combat trauma, prayer and meditation) listening to a message so powerful, it’s this eternally truth. 5 Meo, like other substances, can trigger awakening. However Spiras message is about eternal and infinite guidance. The message will remain truth long after all the greatest of PiHKal and TiHKal have been forgotten. Peace and Love.

I know Rupert means well but this is Almost turning into another religion. All those religious mystics played their roles and had their hands in creating all the world's major religions we see today. Truly unfortunate. This is a path, an approach, which the Buddha never took and deliberately avoided for a good reason. What Rupert and many religious mystics call God is not what the Buddha or Nisargadatta meant by The ABSOLUTE or What Is. If Rupert means the Absolute when he says God, then, he certainly has misunderstood. The error one finds in many religious mystics, will not be found in the ultimate pointings of the Buddha and Nisargadatta. I know for a fact that,Once an erroneous, faulty belief sets in, and take roots it becomes very difficult to see, acknowledge and correct the error. Rupert built his whole understanding and teaching solely based on "being aware of being aware" and named this knowingness or knowledge experience as the Absolute Truth of Existence. This fundamental error is usually found in sufi mystics along with other religious mystics which gave humanity their Gods and their religions. You do not find this error with the Buddha or Nisargadatta in their ultimate approach to the Absolute or What Is . The Buddha clearly saw the ignorance and danger in this kind of approach. There's no other way to speak of the Absolute other than in terms of negation for the simple reason that no knowledge or knowingness can replace the Absolute. Many minds were puzzled and still puzzled when Nisargadatta declared "The Absolute is prior to Consciousness". This statement was made to leave no room for minds and it's errors from claiming the Absolute Existence as an experience such as "being aware of being aware, Being conscious of Being conscious, knowing of knowing which is nothing but an activity of mind reflecting on the Absolute thru it's form or human configuration. We all should and ought to be very careful and most genuine and sincere when it concerns the Absolute Truth of our Existence.As a start, It will be more than helpful to get rid of the belief and the notion that the Absolute or What Is can be taught by another.

So you are making a straw man of Rupert (something you know good and well is not true), and then talking about how your understanding is superior to "his teachings", because the Buddha said it differently. And to be clear, you attacked Rupert personally in your original post (copy and pasted post, similar or identical to many other posts). If you had presented your own confusion in this way, you might have gotten a different response. But you didn't, you presented it as if Rupert is the one who is confused and you are the one that really has it figured out. These are two quite different ways to present an argument.
