I have 2 of the Molle II Medium Ricksacks both in Multicam/OCP. I love them. I did make one simple modification that makes the pack even better IMHO. I switched out the small waist belt that came on the medium pack with the larger waist belt from the Molle II Large Rucksack. It really helps shift the weight from your shoulders to your hips. Multicam is way more expensive than ACU but it still only cost me about $25 per pack. Well worth it. Thanks for sharing.

There should be two "straps" on the sides of the pack near the frame that attach to the frame to help with the side to side movement

I have the assault pack that the military uses and it's a great bag. i think i only paid about 30 bucks for it. Also hope you're safe with the tropical storm coming through over the weekend and into monday.

Local news does not know if the storm will turn east or west after it makes landfall. It is turns east, it will be bad for Houston.

I've been thinking about moving to one of these newer bags, there are some good deals out there now. I have been using the med. Alice packs. My favorite though is the vinyl/leather swiss pack. I put it on my motorcycle. Stay Dry. Harveys loose.

Great Review.Soiders didn have much hangin from the shoulder straps as gear would get in the way of shouldering and fireing a Weapon.Im looking for a woodland camo Assault Pack.

So this is the medium molle acu pattern camo that will also work with the old skool alice pack frame are probably those new plastic military surplus pack frames??
