Finally got around to trying these products and I have nothing but good things to say! Was a little nervous with the shampoo as I normally use cleansing conditioners, but I was very please my hair did not feel stripped. Keep practicing cause I can’t even do a wash and go. My hair be like wash and no boo. I did a twist out and it was so messed up to me. Then I had to go somewhere and a lady said she liked my hair. I almost hit the floor.😳 I was like I know she ain’t talking to me. Then she tapped my shoulder.🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

I have never seen anyone start at the root with perm rods, but I think I prefer this method. Your hair came out beautiful. I'm trying this out for the first time for my graduation hopefully it works!

Day 1 hair/ I don’t do as much but. Day 5-6 🤯 hair be on fleek and that’s when I can get as big as I want. Cause the next step is to two days of updos and Then start over again

I enjoyed seeing this. I tried doing a rod set on my natural hair earlier this week and it was a mess. My curls are much tighter then yours I think I have between 4b/4c hair and it may just because my hair wasn't wet enough and I didn't quite roll it right which is odd because before I was natural I used to wear curls (roller set) all the time with the big colorful pink, black and green rollers lol. All in all I enjoyed this 😀

luv your results. I twisted my hair first into 14 big twists. sectioned hair in 4, did 3 twist in back per section and 4 twist in front per section. then I use the perm rods, took less time. I got a lot of compliments.

I like fluff less after day 1 hair. The definition is key for me. Also I noticed that you wrapped the rods from the opposite end (where the string holds) is that an easier process? I want the curls to come out like this rather than Shirley temple. But maybe I wrapped it incorrectly?

There's so many different ways that I've seen. Alpt of people form their hair around the shape of the rod giving it that shirly temple look. I like to wrap my hair in a twisting formation giving it that rod curl look if that makes sense. I don't think which end makes a difference I just like to close the rod at the bottom. I can't wait to try this. I tried to do this last Sunday and I used the dryer trying to do the heatless curls and it didn't come out good. My hair was So dry and shrunk. So I'm gonna do this without heat

Before you separate you curls, pull on them slightly to give yourself a little more stretch. Or if you have time after you take the rollers out let the curls fall some naturally while you do other things and then separate them.
