Most common pineal abnormality is cyst
Most common “pineal” neoplasm is GCT (germ cell tumor)
Germinoma - homogeneous engulf Ca++
Teratoma - heterogeneous w/lipid
Pineocytoma/Pineoblastoma may decrease ADC
Parinaud/Tectal Syndrome vertical gaze dysfunction
Hydrocephalus & Growth Vector push masses into the posterior fossa
Other lesions: VOG malformations (flow void), meningioma (attached to dura), glioma (splenium or thalamus), lipoma (fat), etc
