I really think this is one of the most informative videos I have watched. And I have watched more than I can count. Well done! I have gone from resisting statins despite LDL-C readings sometimes above 190 in the mistaken belief that an HDL to triglyceride ratio of .6 was somehow protective. To pressing my primary for a statin and with more pressure finally ending up with a PCSK-9 inhibitor also. I tested my ApoB and lp(a) on my own thanks to videos like this. Unfortunately both were horrible, but at least it’s still a primary prevention.

Interesting to note that there’s a REMARKABLE IMPROVEMENT in patients going to FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE practitioners and other professionals like Nutritional Therapists, who look at this problem differently. We look at the SOURCE of the high LDL numbers and include everything else like diet that includes the worst possible OILS & FATS that the American Heart Associations suggests! Diet is the MAIN CAUSE unless you have a patient with hereditary Hyperlipidemia. I could go on and on but until this country’s Dietary and nutritional needs are properly addressed, mainstream, medical/pharmaceutical drugs are going to continue to line the pockets of Pharma instead of addressing the ROOT CAUSE!

Sad to hear a doctor/researcher say that he can hardly wait for the FDA to approve a drug when it hasn’t even finished clinical trials to the full extent. I’m wondering if women were included in this study/clinical trial?
