Liz V. Art i can’t relate, but that’s the point.. you just have to be patient and make your mistakes part of your art. It happens unexpectedly, and everybody makes mistakes, sometimes you just can’t get exactly the art/drawing you want. You may come across mistakes, but you can always change that, but sometimes you just have to start over if it’s actually worse/big lol

@@et6521 Nope, they are just scales. I was going to comment another fun fact: turtles and tortoises and some other animals also have scales but they are large and they're called scutes! These types of scales still shed but do so individually. I think crocodilians scales might be of the scute variety as well, but i could be wrong, they shed in that same way though.

I'm behind a day... I could've swore the prompt was boat, so I spent all day drawing and inking a flipping boat, just to watch a jazza video and see it actually said "bait".. I really appreciate that you post videos, not just of the pieces that go really well and come together fairly easily, but ones like this too. I think a lot of artists understand the feeling of suddenly finding yourself in an upwards battle against a piece and I don’t feel like it’s something we get to see very often online. Hearing how you talk through and solve problems and watching you tenaciously keep going and then ending up with a piece that may not be what you envisioned but, that is still great is super inspiring and informative. It’s something that I really love about your channel and I just wanted to say thanks because it’s helped me a lot with my own art

I haven’t watched through the full video yet but I LOVE RENDR SKETCHBOOKS SO MUCH I got them for Christmas last year and it’s my favourite sketchbook rn EDIT: just finished the video and would like to share some of the things I’ve learned using my sketchbook 1) copic/alcohol based markers work best on it 2) the colours look dark until they dry 3) the bleeding isn’t that bad with copics 4) Pentel Fude Touch Sign Pen don’t bleed under copics if you use them for line art (and I love using the grey one) I hope any of this helps (although you probably figured these out already) but I really hope you revisit the sketchbook because I really love it and hope you do too

Honestly Medusa is my favorite mythological character. The real story is actually very sad, considering she was raped by posiden and was hunted down like a monster.

I sharply inhaled both times the ink dropped from your nib. The end result looked really cool! Even though it didn't seem to be going well the whole time, I think the lesson to be learned from that is to not give up. I tend to give up a lot on art. Thank you for the inspiration! ❤️

I'm so grateful you keep your mistakes in the video and everything... that's the #1 reason I give up n walk away alot n makes me feel like I cant do art at all but seeing someone as good as you making same mistakes I'd make shows me that it can be worked thru n fixed it's not the end of the art

I’ve learned so much about myself from the past couple of years. And I’m working everyday to be the person I want to be. And I feel like I’m much closer to the person a very important person thought I could be. And having you in my mind has been a big reason I’ve grown into this person. If only I had a way of contacting that important person I could try and show the way I’ve improved.
