lovely my old matey as was in chatham dockyard 1969 apprentice on the frigates and sub marines wow and the universities were the barracks for the sailors near the old church with all the ships figure heads thankyou for posting nice video also there were about 10 thousand men working in the dockyard many tnx all the best cheers ....

Videos are great. Great quality and sans commentary. Thank you. I'm from Gillingham but living in Canada now. You're videos are now my thing to watch when I'm on the treadmill in the morning. Would love to see a Chatham walking video in the neighborhood of Luton, if you're ever in the neighborhood :)

Thanks for your Medway walking clips. Gillingham has been my base whenever I travel to Kent since 2003, so it's sort of my home in the southeast of England. Yes, there might be be lovelier and livelier places in the country (nearby Rochester, for example), but I'll always be fond of Gillingham.

10:20 Hmm, never did my shopping there when I was in Gillingham. Alright, I didn't need to buy much, and usually drove to the Hempstead Valley Centre, which a had a good Sainsbury's, among other shops. But I might give the asda a try next time.
