@samhokayem 2K actually should kill more than a 6K on the Erg, as you push yourself to the absolute physical limit in a 2K, while finding a pace below your limit and trying to keep it for the distance is what you should do in a 6K. On the water, I'd rather go for the 2K however ;).

@zigafloma 2k max is hard but deep down you know that the faster u pull the worse the pain the faster ull finish the race. my hatred is the 2x20 min erg programme. its between aerobic like 30 min and bursting like 10 min its pull as hard as u like but its still 20 mins till you finish

Very nice video! This made me wanna go and get on an erg :D i think the video would be a little bit better if you changed the music to indestructible by disturbed, i find that a little more inspiring, but other than that, very nice :P

When you think about it. Rowing is the most fucked sport ever invented, I mean not many people are willing to go to the lengths and train all those hours for a 6 minute race. The blisters and early mornings are an absolute bitch, don't even start me on 2K ergs. There is a deep seated mutual feeling amongst all oarsmen and women of pride and community. The feeling of crossing the finish line in first position is unparalleled in the feeling. For some reason it is my favourite sport all the same.
