You need to put the dust cap back. I went in through the wheel wells. Little cramped but was able to do it. Reason why I suggest you put back the cap is when it rains moisture gets sucked in by the cooling fan into the light housing and it will build up where the high beams are. Water from the top can drip to the exposed area. Moisture cannot be in there. The fans are there for the H11s because they are used more than the high beams and the fogs so they get hot over extended periods.

Very good advice Ed. A note on the LED fans: All LEDs dim as they get hotter. The fans are there as a means to dissipate heat regardless of where these are used (high, low, fog) in order to keep them at a sufficient brightness. These and most newer LED bulbs have copper tubes and boards that help with heat management. Just need to make sure the LEDs point to 3 and 9. The collar on these Auxitos are adjustable, that’s what the little Allen key is for that came with these LEDs. Good job on the video and thank you for putting it up. I would cut out that area of the dust cover to at least keep most of the dust/debris out. The high appears to be a 9005.

Omg these H11s are supposed to be low beams but they are super bright!!! So bright that other cars are flashing their lights thinking I'm running my high beams. It really improves visibility over the stock halogens but boy are they making a lot of people mad.

I have not been out at night. No one during the day has flashed me but they seem crazy bright. Bright enough I'm thinking about turning the switch to OFF during the day. Colorado is dry and the caps won't fit back on. Lucky part is we don't get rain often so I'm willing to roll the dice for everyone and run without, the light to the inner part is sealed. I guess I'll take one for the team of in 5 years I still have them with no caps and no issues. *shrug*

@@Meekerextreme Hi Meeker Extreme, I would definitely find a way to put the dust/moisture cover back on. Could you use another type of plastic dust/moisture cover? It almost looks like a "Pringles" chip can top clear plastic lid might be a close fit. I just bought the latest AUXITO H11's (24000LM) and AUXITO (24000LM) 9005's for my 2014 Nissan Murano Platinum and hoping they fit and work well. My halogens just aren't that great anymore.

Thats because you need to aim your low beams down but you cant because the light bulb is all cramped up in the housing

Do both high and low and turn and marker all at same time

I never had a vehicle where headlights were more then a few bolts. I hope the video helps others know it's not that big of a deal, and once you do one side it's FAST to do. Granted I did say the Volvo was quick to remove but I forgot to say you need Torx to unscrew the back covers to get to the HID bulbs. Not a big deal for me and I forget people don't have Torx although I think they should as it's so common now on various products.
