There are two thoughts I wish to express: 1. May you and your offspring be blessed for ten generations for taking the time to help your fellow humans with this critically informative and very helpful video. I literally could not have changed this headlamp bulb without it. 2. The Ford engineers who are responsible for me having to spend a hot sweaty hour in a parking lot to CHANGE A LIGHTBULB because you have to take half the vehicle apart to do so need to be hunted down, publicly horsewhipped , and set adrift on an iceberg. F U Ford!

Although this was a horrible design by ford to change headlamps bulbs, this video made it quick and easy without any screwups. Taking my time, the first took 30 minutes and the second took 15. I've seen instructions going thru the fenderwell to the back of the housing. Although this removes more bolts, etc., I think I'll do it this way. Less contortion involved inside fender and don't need to take the tire off. Thanks for this tutorial!

Yeah, that is a possibility for sure. I only make videos on the proper way to do things even though there's shortcuts. Also, it would be very difficult logistically to film that. That's another reason I didn't do it that way. However, the proper way still does the job

From one fellow mechanic to another, I have to give thank's for this detailed video, as I am used to workin on classic's, or race car's(I am a retired racing engine specialist), or high performance(Exotic) street car's. I remember when, it took me about 2 minute's to swap out the headlight bulb's(Including the whole glass bulb's, that weighed around 2lbs each, of the mid 80's & back car's/truck's), by just poppin the hood, reachin in, givin it a 1/8th-1/4 turn, and ya could look right at the bulb's, or unscrewin the 3/4 screw's(Usually 2 up top and 1 in the center along the bottom, and 2, if it had 4, instead of 3 screw's mounting it), that held the big glass bulb's in place...

@@thetexan6969 turn wheels out to side you are working or take wheel off. There are 3- 7/32 screws in wheel well splash guard and 1 trim tab. Pull it back and secure. Reach up into the orifice with your booger hooks and try finesse the dust covers and bulbs out. Its a test of arm an wrist joint mobility.
