My dogs love to be brushed and have their coat blown, well 3 out of the 4 do anyways. The other one was abused before she came to us and was never groomed properly. So she tolerates it, but she definitely doesn’t appreciate it.

Drizzle is 11 & I've notice the past couple of years he no longer blows the big clumps of fur (except his legs which is a different story), it's more like he lets the fur out one strand at a time. Ghillie Dhu, on the other hand, is a typical young husky & blows the big clumps. I take my dogs to a groomer during big shed season. My groomer is my friend, who also breeds & shows Sibes, so I know they are going to look great when she is done. I still have all the tools for maintenance though. I have used dog fur to make a needlefelt "sculpture". I looked into spinning the fur to make yarn, even bought the spindle to do it, but have not actually done it yet..
