Personally, I feel like this game is marketed towards hobby gamers who are introducing newer players to modern board gaming. The type that has just played carcassonne or catan and are looking for that next step up, they'll ask their friend that is *really* into board games what's next, I'd imagine they'd show them this.

So it looks like three of the guys are in the studio at the same time. I really hope they go back to doing these types of reviews in-person soon instead of these "virtual" reviews. The varying audio levels and weird interruptions when multiple people try to talk is certainly not the same thing as everyone being in the same room.

I honestly don’t mind them in the virtual format, staying as distant whenever possible is not necessarily a bad especially with cases on the rise.

@@Therisktaker3 I totally agreed, but if you’re already spending time together playing games, then recording in separate rooms doesn’t make sense. You’re already exposed to each other.

I know that some of them play together (not Zee). Do we actually know that they are together in the same location in this video. To me they are in their own homes and that’s why they are doing it in this way.

I think the issue is video layout. If 3 are in the same room then you need 3 cameras in the same room for each person directed straight at them in order to come up with the 4-quadrant layout of the video. Absent that you will have Zee's feed floating in a corner while the other 3 are on the same screen. It will feel like Zee is calling into a show rather than it being a conversation between 4 people. Just my two cents.

I would argue its a 6$, the $ icon is placed after the number in some language ( it is in french), also the top part of the «S» is smaller when you put it this way.

Blue Orange does. They did the exact same thing in Longhorn. They're so accustomed to writing things like 20€ that French publishers often print things like 6£ or 6$. It does my head in.

What do you mean the same location? Every ride tile has the price printed in the bottom right corner... So does the extra land tile if you rotate it until it shows the 6$.

I agree they messed up with putting the dollar sign after the 6 on the park expansion. The game however is fun because it makes you think when purchasing rides and yes it can be cutthroat at times.

One thing that irks me about the graphic design of this game that nobody mentioned-- I like the tile artwork, except for the fact that it's clear the tile graphics are designed such that there's one "upright view" orientation of the tile based on the way the artwork has sort of a birds-eye angle view of the rides. And given that you can rotate the tiles to suit the path connections, this looks to me that it'd be an obsessive-compulsive's nightmare because of the inclination to place every tile "upright." What a game like this needs instead are tile designs that are true overhead views so they can be rotated yet not look like they're all every-which-way. And I'm not even obsessive-compulsive myself (though I do know a few), the look of the resultant map of the "park" annoys me because it isn't as clean as it should be with regards to tile orientations. And it's too bad, because I love the theme, and I can overlook the "gamers" title. But this would probably be a pass for me because the aesthetics is a critical component of a game with this theme, and to me, that makes it fall short. I've already got Steam Park and while that's far from perfect as well, I think it does a better job of it than this does.

I don't have Meeple Land so im trying to defend it but damn I can't stand how board game snobby Z is with games and especially the theme. If he doesn't like the title or the theme its already crap.
