MEEPO ENVY NLS 3 - A Performance Skateboard

I bought one for the kids and of course had to give it a good test ride before handing it over. I'm 230 lbs (105 kilos) in underwear and although it's a little more flexible than I like, it handles my weight fine, especially with a wide stance. The build quality, power, great remote which powers up the board, and excellent range are incredible for $699 US. It's my first Meepo product and am really impressed so far. It even comes with stiffer bushings (100A), which I would install if I wasn't going to hand off to the kids. The stocks are a little soft for my weight of course. Killer value IMHO.

Yeah the stocks were a bit soft for me as well. I would probably leave the front and go 100a in the back but very good skateboard for the price

Were you able to hit the 32MPH? How long did the charge last at your weight? Im 6'3" 230 wondering if itll suffer on battery charge lasting time.

@@steveo7767 it's my daughter's board and tuned for her, so I haven't tried the stiffer bushings. Therefor, I wimp out at much over 20 mph. It feels plenty powerful though for a 230 lb rider though.

@@steveo7767 Those two are pretty close, but I think that the Envy performance specs are a little better. Quick delivery in the US too. The X1 Max is lighter and has a 1" wider deck. The Envy's wheels are a little bigger. The Meepo seems to have a little better remote, but the X1 Max has a tuning app. You could probably be happy with either. Good luck.

I have this board. I'm 6'1 320 board rides just fine and rips. I wouldn't worry if you're a bigger dude looking at this board. On a full charge i'm getting close to 13 miles and goes about 23 MPH for me

I’ve had my Envy for about 4 weeks now. Overall I like the ride, but mine doesn’t feel as smooth as yours. I find myself losing my balance sometimes when starting. But I’m learning to feather it more carefully. Unfortunately, I’ve had a ton of issues with the battery. It drains around 12-15 miles, and sometimes just dies completely on a full battery. Sometimes my remote gives me the 25% warning followed by the 10% warning 30 seconds later. Sometimes I only get a 10% warning before it dies right away. It’s been super unreliable, and I don’t feel safe riding it any more. Customer Support has been absolutely terrible. I’ve had over 25 email exchanges documenting and providing videos of my issues, and it seems they have no interest whatsoever in helping me. Despite how great the board is when it works, the whole experience has turned me off of Meepo. I’ll likely buy my next board elsewhere. Exway??!

Yeah, I've heard nightmare stories about their terrible customer service. You can't listen to their ambassadors either because that's not a good gauge of their support at all. My first board is the Wowgo Pioneer X4 and it's been fantastic. Sorry about your experience with Meepo. That's absolutely Bullsh*t!

My Envy remote won't charge, this is the first time I've tried t9 charge it and nothing happens, any ideas?

Try a different USB C cable. They are not all created to the same spec. My Endurance remote is picky about cables.

You can do it at 65. Just wear the gear and you'll be fine when you go down. Knee, elbow, helmet, and gloves. You get used to putting it pretty quickly and won't think about it after a few rides. Find a big parking lot and do figure 8s. This helped me a lot. If you used to ride a push board back in the day, you can start the same way. Eyes ahead (don't look down), kick to get going, then ease the power in. You can turn your board over and use the remote to get a feel for the control switch. You won't need a 35 mph board :).
