Dr. Israr Ahmad does israar that Meesak e Madina was a pact between Muslims and Jews for a joint defence of Madina (which was further annulled by later revealed first verses of Surah Taubah); and it was not the constitution of Islam - as was promulgated by Dr Hamidullah of Paris.
