my little cousin, Lilliana, 8 has cystic fibrosis and a few months ago she got her feeding tube out, I’m so proud of her. She won’t be able to donate blood or have kids. She most likely wont make it to 22. A meal of pills she has to take, and treatments two times a day. Sometimes she so happy I forget she has cf.

Lift expectancy is in the late 30s, and that's without these genetic modifier meds that are out there, if her genetic mutation is one that allows her to take it. Amazing she got her feeding tube out.

CF is absolutely genetic. I know the brother of the RESEARCHER who found the cf gene on the human genome map. whysoseriousmister you should probably do a little more research yourself.
