@@jonathanhall593 he’s not as fast but that doesn’t mean he’s not fast as hell. Think Henry Ruggs but also one of the main reasons he gets so wide open is because he’s ridiculous with his feet. Much like Ridley and Juedy were. In the video, as I’m sure you saw, even when he slants in after 5 yards (or even fakes it, then goes long ) there’s a ton a separation which is exactly what Bama was missing this year with no Williams. His yards after the catch are impressive as well. On one slant pass he catches it and then pulls a very DeVonte Smitty esque play, like a circle button after some contact, and then… to the house. On3 sports rated this kid a 5 star JR prospect for a reason and I think it’s obvious he’s not only the most mature but NFL rdy prospect coming to play for a big time college program even if he only has 2 years left. Hopefully he’ll be able to leave as a JR as a 1st rounder. Much like Williamson this kid flew under the radar so he’s definitely hungry and knows he can’t just show up to Tuscaloosa and everything will work out for him. He’s a workhorse and will be a great player in Crimson in White. UGA and Tennessee fans are crying over missing this kid. Roll Tide!

Stewart doesn't come to mind with me. The top end speed is waddle like and his ability to use his size to jump over some guys next level as well. I'm thinking more of Amari or jeudy than Stewart. Just based on what I see on tape. Still have to see it in sec action. Don't forget hes going against juco players in these clips . Does he block in the run game . Does he go full speed even when he doesn't think he's the 1 or 2 option on a particular play to keep his defender from cheating and helping defend other receivers because he isn't going full speed when. He's not #1 option . Lots of things I still need to see before I say he's this or that. But he reminds me of coop alot

Whoever still runs the wing t or the triple option (unless you army and it's in your blood) on offense (won't go as far as including the i-formation with. A fullback and tailback, it's too sentimental to me) shouldn't be forced to be coached by anyone who would think that is in Any way helping your team win but to the contrary, actually taking the fun and spirit out of the game for the offensive players and say to the wide receivers and tight ends and actually the qb too , in today's game, that they are nothing but off lineman that play standing up instead of with one hand on the ground and that no matter how talented you may be no one will ever no because we don't run that kind of offense nor do we even care about winning. The coach and team who had this kid on the roster and decided to run the wing t on offense with that knowledge and weapon that he would have been no doubt (unless the coach couldn't find one kid in all of the school they coached that could throw a football somewhere near this kid or had a line that couldn't hold a block for 2 seconds) should have been banned from ever coaching again , because if not for the fact that this kid kept it to himself and didn't take it out on the coach or coaches (the frustration and anger you know he had to be feeling along with teammates that felt the same) graduated with no offers , went to juco and showcased his talents then and their to the extent of being recognized as the #1juco player recruit and an alabama commit. You can't convince me in 100 yrs that he was just a late bloomer or that he wasn't coachable or etc... the only saving grace that the high school coach has in my opinion is if he used this kid as the qb and tried to utilize him that way because he really didn't have a qb that could get him the ball or the line to actually pass block a few times a game. But even still, why not put him in the pistol or shotgun and let him run the offense that best uses his open field running ability and speed , misdirection and boots and some pass plays off that. Because he's an athlete from the looks of it and I bet that he can throw a football better than most even if he would have never been a div 1 highly rated qb recruit. Yeh this coach either had something against this guy and didn't want anyone to recognize and award his extreme talent or he really just didn't know any better how to use this kids ability the best he could with what he had as a team around this guy. Either way he is guilty of not being an intelligent human being to say it kindly and a leader of young men who didn't have their best interests and futures in the decisions he made which can and has caused countless of players to be overlooked or to lose interest and turn to other activities that are no good and destructive. Please someone tell me that this man no longer coaches high school fball and of he does still somehow coach please s/art a petition to get him immediately disqualified from his position. It's not fair to the boys and their parents who work hard to see that they have the best opportunity to be able to show colleges and businesses that they have special skills that could be a benefit to the organization that give sthem a chance. One last statement and I'll stop. If you think I'm being to hard or whatever just picture this. This coach had this kid who one year after graduating from his high school is rated the #1 juco player in the country and being compared to some greats at the position and to top it off just signed a scholarship to attend the best football focused university, achieving historical success the past 13 or so yrs, being coached by the best to ever do it in college and having the best opportunity to get even better on the field and off and making it to the next level. Now just 1 year before this and a few years leading up to that , this guy pretty much had no chance to showcase his ability at receiver or just as an athlete in general based all on and because the head coach insisted on running an offense that became popular in the 70s and then lost all glit and glamor by the end of the decade if that long. Some teams used it much longer and had success with it because either 1. In Nebraska s case they had better players than veryone else in college football so it didn't matter what they ran really or 2. Coaches stopped planning and watching tape of that style of offense for so long and so infrequent that when they did eventually have to play an army or a ga. Tech they would have rather had their teeth pulled without numbing meds than to play this kind of team . And not because it was so hard to defend or prepare for, and it was indeed at times, but because of the techniques used by the offense line to block defenders by diving at knees and ankles while said defender was engaged with someone else so pretty much defenseless. Injuries would no doubt happen in these games and serious ones at that. This kind of blocking was later banned thank God. Much too late in my opinion. So needless to say no one besides a few teams that have used it for decades still play that style of offense. It was created because the teams offensive line was considered a weakness by their coaches and offensive coordinators so they figured the most basic block and assignments were the best plan for the weaknesses that wouldn't allow for a team to be able to drop back once or twice every possession and throw the ball for fear of getting their qbs killed or injured. Or not athletic enough of a offensive lineman to have to move more than a few steps to provide a block for the running game that a good well devised rushing attack needed to have the linemen do to be successful. That's exactly why this offense was invented. So unless I'm not in the know in regards to the talent this coach had surrounding this talented kid and had nochooice but to use him as qb or rb in thus style of offense then I feel like he isn't qualified to be a leader of young men and women who are at very important stages in life and an opportunity missed could be the difference between success or significant failure and needs to be let go of his duties immediately and permanently
@jonathanhall593

The coach should be immediately fired if still head coach at the high school this kid attended and should have to write an apology letter to the kid and his family for attempting to hide this talent and athleticism to universities . Whether intentional or not , he shouldn't be allowed to coach high school kids any longer for fear of something similar occurring but this time with a different and possibly tragic outcome due to the kid losing focus of his dreams and aspirations along with losing his confidence in his abilities and becoming just another talented but unmotivated teen who threw it all away before he even knew that was possible. All because of an incompetent and unqualified to put it mildly adult who either didn't recognize the talent this kid possessed and how to develop this and help this kid realize the possibilities that were out there for such a talented individual if he focused on what's important and was then able to showcase them to the public or chose to ignore it because of the kids attitude maybe or something worse like jealousy or playing favorites. Where were his parents when he wasn't being utilized to the max of his talent . I would have pulled my kid out of that school and taken him to another school that was not stuck in the 70s in football schematics and play and to a coach that ran an offense that put the ball in the hands of the weapons, the kids who were most likely to succeed with the ball in their hands. Football is really not that complicated. On offense you try to get your best player or players the most touches in a game that you possibly can and if you do that and you still somehow lose the game which will happen on occasion at least you know that your best players had their opportunities and it wasn't because you didn't get them the ball enough. You can live with that loss. And on defense you try to prevent those same individuals from getting the ball . Sometimes you even double the guy or have a shadow on defense that go with that player all over the field and that's his only focus. Sometimes this may cost you and your team if the opposition notices these schemes and plans accordingly. But in the end know Matter the score you can live with the outcome because you know that you didn't let the best player have a career day against you . You forced someone else to beat you . But if the best player, who everyone in the stadium and watching on TV is the best and where the focus of the offense is going to be on , beats you and you failed to plan against that, being goal number 1 all week in practice, than those are tough losses to swallow andis a quick way to get yourself fired if you happen to be head coach. If other circumstances are at hand in this case please let me know and I'll offer an apology to the coach if an apology is indeed justifiable. Otherwise please give the kids you coach, whether you are the main man or just the special teams coordinator, the best chance of success in today's world of football and if you can't do this have the integrity and class and compassion to step aside so someone else may be able to do a little better than you. If you see this happening to a kid on your team or on any team that you happen to be in touch with or watch from time to time, let someone know that may be able to make the changes necessary. Also if you can try to get this kid I practice or playing some backyard ball with his teammates or friends on film doing what he does so effortlessly and graceful so that you can put it out there for someone to see

The Bama offense is also loaded at RB and QB. The Bama defense is also loaded and is going to create a serious problem for opposing offenses. I can't wait until fall camp because this team is scary good. The only question is the OL. I just want to see who steps up and plays the Bama way..

Malik Benson and Justin Jefferson and Dylan Lonergan have been the only highlights for Alabama as of lately things are not looking good. Well things have gone downhill since then because Bama is just letting incredible recruits slip right thru their fingers first it was Peter woods and now Raul Aguirre oh yeah and I forgot about Francis mauigoa and that really good tight end that picked Miami over Alabama Riley Williams. so that's 2 highly talented players we've lost to Miami and one to Clemson. I mean these guys were in the bag I mean we had these guys leaning towards Bama. I know we got Justin Jefferson. And he might very well be a starter this year alongside Tu'a Tu'a. But I think Robert Gillespie was Raul's primary recruiter and he's always good at Landing great players especially running backs and linebackers and I think Pete Golding was his secondary it sounded like Bama had raul and then they just him slipped away in the final days. The same with Riley and Francis. Is this coaching staff really worth a damn on the defensive side. Are they getting lazy and recruiting and coaching I mean I know Nick Saban getting older and can't be everywhere at one time and have eyes in the back of his head. Not like he used to. Not to mention I don't think Alabama is going to show the money so to speak to these guys like other schools because we're still in the wild west with no guidelines and restrictions on football teams there's no Level Playing Field w/ the NIL. SABAN might very well start having problems recruiting in Florida it certainly looks like it. And it seems like Bama just wants to go for the elite players and then when they don't get these guys and they try to go after guys that aren't a five-star or a high-end four-star they don't want to have anything to do with Bama because Bama passed them by early on and didn't offer. of course Georgia didn't get r. Aguirre and they really wanted him but they're going to get their High School linebacker in the top 10 ja. Russaw, linebacker/ edgerusher. Hell Miami might get 2 Elite linebackers along with Troy Bowles . We're not going to get him either and I don't think Alabama will get Malik Bryant he'll probably go to Florida. Bam is not going to get a top 10 linebacker or a top 10 defensive lineman. I don't expect James Smith Kelby Collins Hunter Osborne to go to Alabama either. I don't think that Coleman hutzler or Joe Cox were good hires unless Joe Cox can bring in a decent tight end Jelani Thurman but we really haven't had one of those since OJ Howard. I mean maybe the nil what's going to bring down Bama's Dynasty. I mean this month is started out terrible for Alabama in recruiting it couldn't be going worse. Oh yeah and we lose Elliot Washington and his freaking dad played basketball for Alabama and he didn't even want to stay I wonder what happened there. I just don't understand some of these kids why they pick a school if you're not 100% sure don't waste their time and yours. I don't know if Jahlil Hurley still wants to go to Auburn but nothing is surprising me this year at this point

For a school whose fans are always screaming development Alabama sure is spending a lot of time in the portal when they already have a roster of 89% of blue chippers. And if you don't know what that means that means 80 percent of their roster is already 4 and 5 stars. Just saying Michigan was only 59% UGA was 77% and Cincinnati wasn't even high enough to register. So of the 4 two schools are doing some serious coaching and two schools are compiling talent.
