Meet Apprentice Jockey In Training - Joy Haynes

Apprentice jockey in training, Joy Haynes caught the eyes of many racing fans when she finished second aboard Storm Boy in the first apprentice race in 2024.
Haynes shared her experience in the Racing Commission’s Jockeys’ Training School and her first time in the saddle in a competitive event with Quickgallopja.com, and its KZbin Channel - The Quick Galloper.

The Jamaican trainer needs to show move love for the woman jockeys. It's a shame that if some of the lady have to win, it will be at 99/1 because they are not getting good rides. So much horse winning by 10 lengths and the trainer's not willing to encourage a lady . These lady that ride at the park are very competent, and if given the chance, they can outride any man as A Cowie S Fletcher and Able has proven. N Berger A Powell and M Ward are very competent riders, but somehow, they are not getting winning or are even good rides. This young lady life is a storybook, and I wish one of the good trainers could claim her and give her a chance because, as a horseman, we all know that his horse makes jockeys.
