Because this surely won't cause any confusion whatsoever. This is also one of the most nonsensical things I've seen an auto manufacturer do. I would love to hear Audi's reasoning for taking this lazy approach of a sister brand by only capitalizing A U D I and calling it a day.

If that’s nonsense, try jaGuar.

omfg i thought the same thing. ALDI / LIDL. XD they try to make it modern and flashy, but it just gives cheap store vibes. the car looks like it was made out of plastic and like it would fly off the road with a breeze coming from the side.

Extremely disappointing, if I had my way, abandon the chinese market to save the brand from its own distruction. The chinese market don't seem to want Germanic design so don't give it to them. invest elsewhere where the brand is embraced for what it stands for.

Audi's image among the new generation in China is seen as outdated. Even in street interviews, young people associate Audi with their parents' or grandparents' generation. If Audi wants to recapture the Chinese market, they need to reinvent their brand image. The brand name "Audi" itself works well in the Chinese market, as most people only recognize it as "奥迪" and may not know how to spell it in English.

Isn’t it funny how most Americans think Buick is outdated grandpa cars while they sell like hot cakes in China meanwhile China thinks this of Audi? And nobody here has that perception
