People are so hostile to ball in OW2, I’ve had games where I’m carrying the entire time and people still complain and constantly ask you to switch off. It only drives me to ball even harder. Be the ball.

the ball is even more selfish of a hero than Roadhog. It's fine as long as you are actually getting picks but at least Roadhog sticks somewhat close to his team. Hell half the time as ball you are going for medpacks which denies supports heals for their ults giving another reason to hate ball. most people don't realize if they are playing with a ball they need to play more careful and defensive so that they aren't rushed before ball can get value in the backline

@@zacharyjackson1829 It’s actually the opposite. Ball should get some solo picks, but the team shouldn’t be playing completely separate from ball. A good ball will wait for his team to engage so they can both apply pressure at the same time. Ball boops/slams the backline, and Dps follows up for easy kills. That’s how you win with ball. The problem is that DPS and sometimes supports usually aren’t aggressive enough, not that they aren’t defensive enough. Most Dps players want to hide behind a sigma shield and play call of duty. They are afraid to press W and walk past an enemy Rein. This is frustrating for ball players because you’re constantly waiting for your team to engage and they are too scared to engage. So there is nothing for you to play off of. And lastly, healers not having to spend their resources healing ball is a GOOD thing. That means they can be healing dps so they die less and can play more aggressively. If Ball needs healing, he should just go to the healer. A good ball also know when to disengage.

practice in deathmatch, it doesnt matter if you dont get kills, get used to hammond movement and look up diferent techs he has (wall jump, rebound, multiple hits per swing) and never understimate how effective is to split the enemy team and throw everyone's positioning

Yours last the same time, there is a meter now above the grapple. Also, try to breathe a little bit more consistently when playing. Sometimes game can feel faster than it has to because heart rate rises. Gotta stay calm and the game will feel more manageable.

hook into a wall, fire ball miving forward, hit the wall, start moving backwards while still hooked, realease the hook just as you are reaching its max lengt. Timing is a bit finicky and youll stall if you dont release the hook on time, but can be done consistently.
