Crystal I'm so sorry for the loss of your parents. I have also lost my parents as well. I understand the pain and how you can feel orphaned after the loss of parents. But you have to remember all memories you have of them. No one can take those memories away not even the drugs can take those. You are in my thoughts and prayers!

And I always saw that as normal. But sad that a place we would go to for fun when we were little just for playdates and pizza was her favorite memory. :/ maybe that was the best birthday she got. Kinda sad though.

Tom, Thanks for helping these people and I hope your videos help. I think different and additional questions might be better serving to your cause like questions that answer or explore what circumstanced led them to be in the situation they are in right now, What if anything could or might have kept them from getting into the situation of life on the streets, What recommendation they have for a person that might be heading to that pivotal time in their lives, What if anything makes them the most happy right now and What if anything scares them the most right now. The questions whats your favorite movie or book doesn't result much.

Addiction is powerful. But as hard as it is to admit, we all have a CHOICE. These women have *chosen* drugs over their babies. We have sympathy for these ladies, but we also must remember there are children involved. Those kids, growing up without their mom, won't be as understanding and sympathetic as we are. And that's because they paid the biggest price for their mom's choices. And ultimately, no matter how you flip it, their mother did *choose* drugs over them. So while we leave messages of support and compassion for these ladies here, let's take a moment and remember their children too - it's *them* who've paid the *biggest* price. They didn't ask to be born, they didn't choose to be born to a drug addict... Ultimately it's THEM who are the biggest victims here - not these women..

So sad. She seems intelligent and not yet too deep in the game. I hope she gets out soon so she can raise her son and have a good life. She perked right up when asked about her favorite childhood memory so she's most likely grieving her parents loss by using drugs trying to cope but I wish she'd do it the right way and get help with the grief instead of putting herself through this hell every day.

Yesterday I found another video on You Tube I think subscribers as well as these addicts and the Creator of Chosen Won Tom Reed should watch this video-it may be an answer to help the Chosen Wons ... "kzbin.info/www/bejne/hoqcdZZ_gqyrg9U" . It is a Ted Talk presentation by an x-drug addict that makes sense and is totally worth listening to. I want to send stuff to Tom Reed to hand out to whoever he thinks needs what I send...need address.

These videos are sad bc these people seem to want better for themselves but deep down they know they can't bc they are in their comfort zone with their addiction. I know it's an addiction, but it's also a choice they have.i guess they just don't have the motivation or the means to do so. These videos show the world that there is still,some human life in these people.
@jojobee424 жыл бұрын
These girls make $10 in 3 minutes doing these interviews! Pretty good, if you ask me! That's like $200 an hour! Better than what I make, that's for sure! lol So if anyone wants to say Tom is "exploiting" these people, then please, go get a reality check! Everyone gets something here - even us the viewers get something by watching these videos! So let's put all the BS aside.

@@brizzle5269 Yeah, they see a quick fix when he comes around. It's just the mentality of a drug addict. I mean they'd get it some other way without the cash from Tom so it is what it is. But yeah, a drug addict wants cash first or something they can quickly sell or trade for drugs second.

@savannahjade95304 жыл бұрын
Not sure how it works if you actually complete your stay, but if you leave early then they'll blacklist you and you can't come back for a certain period of time. Someone I know had tried rehab, didn't complete it, and wasn't allowed back for a year. It's insane! That could be the reason someone ends up dying! At the same time though I get it. They don't have enough beds for everyone so they don't want to fill up beds with people who aren't ready/serious when they could be used for someone who is.
