The aesthetics of this girl are so what I normally love...but...porcelain...and that's the one substance that I can't manage. And when you did the sound of the joints rubbing...*shudder* that's the reason I won't ever get a porcelain doll. But she is so so gorgeous!

No porcelain BJD. This one is amazing. I inherited a few porcelain dolls from my Grandmother. They are nice, and tougher than they look (I'm still carefull because of their age). My daughters got gifted modern porcelain dolls (early 2000s). They are rougher and easily to damaged. I have repaired them twice, now, and they are far less than 20 years old.

When you commented about porcelain quality I reached over and felt the hand of the little googly that I recently got. It's really smooth. She's not a BJD, but she is a full porcelain, body and all.

Congratulations getting your first porcelain doll. Wow she look so beautiful Her artist is so cool and amazing amazing to create her,her face details is so well painted. I do have three porcelain dolls,two of them is the same size as my American doll and the other one size is two inches,body is stuffed with cotton only the head,hands and legs is porcelain. My two inches doll the whole body is porcelain🥰🥰🌷🌷❤❤💜💜💜

She’s gorgeous ..Her skin is like mine..We call it ENGLISH Rose.It’s pale ..Freckled when your young but not when your older.You burn in the sun rather than get a good tan and have to be careful…She has such beautiful eyes too.I also have looked at her other dolls and they too are exquisite ..Love n Light 🥰
