The reason why its made aware she's one of only two female grounds keeper is because if there's no awareness the public would assume it was a man. The point is to inspire others and to pursue a career in which they might not have know was possible because of there gender. They're no comparison in the video to say men or women are better at the job. Its just to make public, yeah a woman can do the job also. The phrase male dominated jobs still plagues our society. I bet most of you who watched didn't know it was a woman who held that job. Now young or adult woman can say, she did it why can't I. If you don't understand that its because you had a different life experience. Because you don't know, doesn't make you stupid. You just had different life experience. Should it matter if she's a man or woman. NO! If you can do the job is all that matters, but most are not aware personally or culturally that a job is obtainable.

I didn’t know because I don’t care. Just as I go into a store for a product or service, it is NEVER a consideration of what the sex, skin color, sexual orientation, political ideology, religion or any other factors such as those that determines whether or not I patronize a business. Perhaps we are agreeing, but the simple fact remains to this day, women are interested in people and men are interested in things. If you want more equality, you should also be interested in promoting women to be oil rig workers, garbage collectors or ditch diggers. You never notice any of them but we ALL benefit from there work everyday.

I don't really care if a groundskeeper is a man or a woman.

I would be impressed if she was the second female coach ever in mlb not the second fucking groundkeeper.

Ri-ight. It's got to be a big-image job or it doesn't matter. Know what? Without groundskeepers, it wouldn't matter how good the coach was, the game would go to blazes as the ball bounced wrong, the players stumbled, and the field looked like a vacant lot.
